500kalle
I didn't want to take them to The junkyard, so I spent a Little Time in! Took Off the Old clearcoat, grinded and painted them:

500kalle
THANKS!! I grinded by hand using wet-sandpaper granulation 320!! Lasted nearly 2 hours incl cleaning and degreasing!! But First I stained the old clearcoat with GRAFFITTI-REMOVER !!! ;-)
gogmorgo
We had some pretty serious graffiti remover at work, came in a spray bottle. Didn't really say much about it on the bottle, but when you sprayed it, it was like walking through a cloud of acetone... we had to stop using it because it dissolved plastics and melted paint off. Sounds appropriate for your purpose!
500kalle
That Sounds good!! I also used a Spray bottle, sprayed The REMOVER to The rims and After 15minutes I was able to wipe away all The Old Paint with water and a brush! :)
