henky
at last it's there! afther 4 months, I parked it for a while in CA at my friends home, to collect some parts, it's cheaper to send them with the car..
henky
a lot of things were already done by the privious owner, the 97 swap, lift etc.I bought it with a bad paintjob, so I had to take it apart and repaint it again...first i removed the bed, there was no rust found! looked perfect! mvusse
Congratulations on your new toy. I have never seen a rust free Comanche around here... On a side note, I was born and lived in the Netherlands until I was 16 and we moved to Canada.

mvusse
That's a Ford 8.8" axle. Stronger than the stock Dana 35 it probably had, but a bit narrower also.

henky
Hi, guy's First there are a lot of people with dutch background around here.... It's quitte a pain in the a.. To import a car from the us, first I had to arrenge shipping to a harbour, a container, shipping to Holland, Pay a lot of tax 21 procent of carprice plus transportcosts. Next is, get it legal here...but it is almost taxfree for driving because it,s from 1987 (oldtimer) ha ha! People will be staring at the car, because the mj was never imported here...the xj is well known around here so thats easy for parts.. Tomorrow i,ll post more pic,s Grtz from Holland!
