Hey guys,

I still cannot figure out the way to make picutes appear without the link. But here are a couple picutes of what an innocent creek done. My front bumper is 37 inches off the ground. Laughs on me guys....

I'm learning that lesson too... did the same thing in snow that deep (above my bumper but I'm still at stock ride height). Not once but twice. She don't do so well with the underpan sitting on top of the snow and the wheels paddling though powder. Or mud in your case.

A winch is probably in my future. As for lockers, well, we'll see how my budget looks this summer...

Problem with lockers is that they will only allow you to get into deeper trouble before you get stuck. At that point you will be more stuck, further away from the pavement than you would have without them.

The main problem was that the one tire that was spinning in the back was up in the air. I had no traction. The only tire that wanted to spin was the front left. And that was PURE quick sand. This was an innocent looking 2 foot wide creek. But stock gears don't like the mud. Cannot wait to get my 8.25 locked with 4.56 gears installed. I don't think i would have gotten stuck then. :???:

But all in all it was fun as crap.... nothing a a chain and another truck couldnt handle getting out.... Winch and brush guard and next in line after i get my rear end installed and gears. . :MJ 1: .

in that situation i believe a front locker would have been better but i completely agree with this

but as long as you werent alone is the main thing. never wheel alone. even if you think its just a nice cruise around some local trails. $#!& can and will happen when you don't expect it. a winch will remedy some of that factor but its still not a smart idea.

my good friend has 300 acres thats where we wheel at... If all else the big green tractor would have came and got me.
