Backdraft
Happy Thanksgiving! Go Cowboys! I've been a Cowboys fan my whole life. But they haven't showed up to play a game today.
HOrnbrod
I've been a Cowboys fan my whole life. But they haven't showed up to play a game today. You never know what you're going to get with the Cowboys, probably the most inconsistent team in the NFL. Great Detroit/Houston first game today. I was really pulling for the Lions to win their first Turkey Day game in nine years, but wide-right in O/T. Sorry Pete. I think the Texans are by far the best NFL team now in Texas. Backdraft
I couldn't agree more. I'm honestly used to Dallas's inconsistencies. And I was also pulling for the Lions. May be worth it to start paying more attention to Houston!

I'm not a fair weather fan, I used to cherish the annual Thanksgiving Cowboys game but they are simply too painful to watch anymore. Like a struggling single mother seeing her only son locked away in prison. Its just too much to bare. Consistency is the key word. They've spent all the money they could on the best talent. But each game they fall apart and collapse each game like a bunch of drunk people playing twister. Romo puts up hall of fame stats (nevermind the massive amount of interceptions), but there is some kind of disconnect with the team. They're like a great team struggling up a giant mountain slope of melting ice cream. As they are, they will never get to the top. Watching them is too much of a heartache, I long for the days of Too Tall Jones,,,,for now I'd rather clip my toenails.

Always have, always will, and theres nothing wrong with that. But the arrogant "America's Team" self-proclamation has always pissed me off. I'm enjoying watching the carnage and self destruction. The Cowboys are not even Texas's Team now. Sad.........
Comanche County
Watch your tongue sir, they are still America's Team. :fs1:
