jeepdude89 Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 When I am releasing the clutch pedal I hear a popping sound and I can also feel it. I has been working fine and noise free, it just started making this noise this morning. The clutch is still working fine and the truck still drives, runs and shifts fine it is just making this noise when releasing the clutch. Does anybody have any ideas on this? jeepdude89 Posted November 11, 2012 Author Share Posted November 11, 2012 I got it fixed today. The problem area was where the master cylinder linkage and pedal assembly join together like 87warrior pointed out. There was alot of play in this area due to broken/rusted hardware. I removed said hardware and replaced with metal washers and it is now tight and noise free. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
