I like that bumper. It's got some nice lines and I like the ends. I'd just put the license plate on one of those holders that slide into the receiver. Or I'd get it without the receiver and screw the plate in the center of the bumper.

I plan to place my order on black friday. I don't know what rig I will put it on, but by-golly I won't miss out on the bumper again.

Ditto what Brett said. I've been needing a decent rear bumper to replace the bent stock bumper and this looks to be just the ticket. I'd certainly like a provision for a plate and light, but its not a deal breaker. And since its a DIY bumper, I'm sure I can improvise and come up with something. Besides, I have their front winch bumper and really like it. A rear bumper from the same manufacturer would satisfy my touch of OCD.

They say it will be on par with their XJ DIY rear bumper which runs $220US. They also state that the black Friday sale price will be lower than that.

Also you are correct. You do the welding. DIY=Do It Yourself. They ship the bumper to you in flat pieces that are cut and ready to be assembled. You receive the kit and bend/weld the pieces together, then finish it how you like.

Where to put the plate.....lol

Drill a couple holes through the bumper, bolt on your plate. If you want to get fancy, take a grinder and do some cutting.

This bumper is DIY, you do all the assembling, welding and grinding. If you what something different, you can take out a grinder or torch and go at it. It's a great platform at a great price for those that have the ability to put it together.
