Well. Update on paint.

I just hit the 2 year mark, and well, it's not bad for a cheap Macco job.

Jeep sits outside and gets hard sun and snow here in Colorado. I've just put on a coat of wax for the first time today, I can see it's beginning to fade, but considering, I'm impressed.

This is before the wax, after will come today when the rain stops.

The wax does give it a nice shine.

Random update.

Storm here last week gave me some hail damage on both cars. Bummer. Good thing they're both old!

Went to Idaho springs for a cold one and some time away with my lady today. Just randomly shot this.

Put on 100 miles. 220,300 or so now. Which means I have barely put on 6,000 miles in 2 years.

The 3.08 gear ratio suckkkkkssss going up i70

I can only imagine! I find the struggle is real even with 5.13s! Now days I try to avoid 70 in the high country. Working in Avon for a year made me despise 70....

I really like your truck. So simple yet so effective!

You just need 4th! 3.07 gears suck even with 235/75/15s but I'm used to close ratio sports cars so downshifting on the highway is no big deal. My comanche has no trouble passing the end of the 85mph speedo and it's not calibrated right so that's really 90 or so!

You just need to know your powerband and stay in it.

So towing was fun...... Not.

I really only went 12 miles, but there was one stop light on a slight hill that I had to stop at. I knew I would burn through the clutch if I tried to start on the hill. So I quickly threw it into 4lo, just to get started, and once I got to 3rd, I jumped back into 2 high. Quick thinking if you ask me.

I'm in the process of converting to 4wd. I put the front and rear axles in out of my doner. It's a little hilly here in middle TN. Changing from 3.07 to 3.55 gears,Unbelievable difference.

Can't believe I still have this thing.

It's been 4 years.

It's starting to stumble and misfire. Probably just needs a tune-up, but I don't currently have a garage soooooo it'll have to wait. Dang it.
