Where the heck have I been?

Life kinda got in the way and I actually had some energy for a change so I have been trying to knock out some of my projects while I can. I finished fixing my van and it is sold (waiting 3 weeks for the rest of the cash. I got a '92 Grumman as down payment) I've been building my Eagle wagon (still need to swap in an XJ rear diff and fix the valve cover, but it has a 727/NP229 in it) and getting rid of my other "toys". My '82 Chev C20 with 454/TH400/4.10s on 33" tires went away (that cut my fuel consumption in half) and I helped my son move at the same time.

I'm organizing all my parts and stuff to get ready to move by the end of the year (going to the swap meet next month with a fully loaded Grumman P3500) so I have my '87 MJ awaiting time to finish (sitting in my buddy's garage and soon to come home when the van goes away). My '89 MJ project (making an extended cab short box out of a longbed MJ) may go away and become someone else's dream.

Not sure yet what's happening with the pumpkin ('68 Travelall) but an AMC 360 or 290 may go in place of the BG241 6 cyl. That or a 4.0L with EFI (I can use the 2wd AW4 from the project MJ to do that)

That will leave the 2 FSJs (Honcho stepside and Black Jack monster truck) that I will decide which to keep. Everything else was hauled or is about to be hauled (including my 5 ton '71 IH flatbed hauler) to scrap.

Then I have to decide which to keep, but I think it will be done by sales attrition. Whatever isn't sold I'll keep.

One of the Jtrucks stays and whichever of the Eagle, MJ or pumpkin that's left stays.

So, how busy is YOUR summer?

The score:

1 Eagle wagon parted

1 Datsun 720 made into a trailer

1 '66 Travelall cut in half and front part about to go away (was going to use the 304 for a V8 conversion in the '68 but ga$ price$ went up!)

'82 Chev C20 sold (bye bye 454 TH400)

1 '88 XJ parted

'82 Spirit sold (actually swapped with a buddy that is helping me get stuff done and we are converting it to 4x4 like the Eagle)

'71 Loadstar 5 ton flatbed dump about to drive in with one BIIIIG load of scrap then hand over the keys.

Cleaning the yard of all excess spare parts and get ready to sell by fall.

I still need to flatten the 5th wheel travel trailer (after all the parts are out of it) and make a car hauler out of it.

Just a little busy I guess.

I'm soooo glad not to be sick all the time now! I would've had my bad teeth pulled a couple years ago if the dentist I had back then was more interested in my health than making money from fixing my bad teeth as they were killing me!

Still not quite up to par (I get pretty tired after only 4-5 hours labor now)
