my86mj Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 whats causing it? its really bad on the passenger side. i don't see any adjustments for camber so that leads me to believe its balljoints. any ideas?
cruiser54 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 How bad is it? Just happen? Factory had some pooely jigged front axles about that time. The right side would have excessive negative camber. Solution was adjustable ball joints.
Jeep Driver Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I assume it's a CAD axle? Newer axle would be my solution.
my86mj Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 yeah its on the passenger side. negative camber. makes the front look like one of those stanced honda civics. can i fix it without replacing the axle?
SW86 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 yes. adjustable ball joints. but id say @#$% it and get a newer d30 but they are everywhere down here soooo
Pete M Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 adjustable ball joints can only fix a small amount. if you can notice the problem with the naked eye, I have a feeling they won't tweak it far enough.
my86mj Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 well the axles seals leak so might as well go get a new d30 and swap the shafts out with my new rejointed ones. the problem is finding an axle with 4.10s
