jons87mj Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 How do you like them? Do they work good in a l6 are they worth the money? I'm going to be replaching mine here in a couple days and wanted to see what you guys thought about them thanks jon :wrench:
cody4359 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 waste of $$. had them in my turbo coupe t-bird and my 96 xj and noticed nothing. I'm a believer of the el cheapo champion etc, just replace them every other oil change
Geonovast Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Our engines were designed for one spark. They are not racing engines, you will gain nothing by putting expensive plugs in, and you may even end up harming the motor in the long term. NGK or Champion Copper plugs. Shouldn't run ya more than $15 for a full set.
cz777 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 JUNK!!! i tried them as freebie ,talk about misfire and backfires etc give me NGK iridiums !!!
cruiser54 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Factory recommended interval on tune-up parts is plugs, wires, cap and rotor every 30,000 miles. Use only cap and rotor with brass contacts, not aluminum ones. Good quality wires like Belden from Napa. Clean the throttle body and change the fuel filter at the same time.
jons87mj Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 Thanks for the info guys you saved me some $$$ and not buying junk :ack:
FrankTheDog Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Stick with the stock plugs. Those are the ones it was designed to run on. I've also had good luck with the mopar replacement cap, rotor and wires. They were decent price wise too.
