yellaheep Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Dood........ you should make and sell those bed rail covers. Those are secksi. Seriously.
PACIFIER Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 What did you use to mount those bed rail covers? I like that. I used 1" button head bolts.
PACIFIER Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 I got a chance to install one of the rockers on the MJ today. I'll try to finish it tomorrow and paint them before the end of the week. I guess I'll start on the front bumper next. :ack:
kineticMJ Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 painting the frame of the taillights is a nice touch too.. good looking project, interested to see whats next
PACIFIER Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Here is what I came up with for the license plate, the LED will be here on Friday.
PACIFIER Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 The temporary wheels (15) and tires (30) have been installed. It's finally beginning to look like a truck
PACIFIER Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 I scored a practically brand new set of MJ seats for $60 :huh???:
PACIFIER Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 The interior restoration has begun before dropping the tranny and converting it to 4WD. At first glance I thought that I was going to have to weld new floor boards. As luck would have it... the rust was only superficial.... Fixed the problem with some rust inhibitor. Put down a couple of thick layers of Herculiner.
PACIFIER Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 The interior is mostly done... just waiting on a few parts that need to be replaced. New roof liner has been installed The interior is now mostly black instead of gray.
PACIFIER Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 I started working on my lift (front). I'm hoping to have the rear done before Sunday. :wrench: Before After
PACIFIER Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 Partially done with the rear suspension... I'll let everything settle over night before tightening everything, adjusting the pinion angles and welding everything in place. I'm beat!
