STERLING STINGER
ya i know...thats the weakest point the originals have a bolt set into the steel, it is a hardened steel bolt,...so maybe... i can drill a pit in the top of it and set the bolt in it, then weld it...idk... In your shoes I would use some round bar thats the correct size and then use a thread die on the end of that.

mnkyboy
You could make the top match the bottom then make a U shaped bracket to bolt to the sway bar.then the upper part of the link could be attached with a bolt or pin. That's basically how I've got mine except I made mine into quick disconnects.

SW86
make two circles instead of a treaded bolt on the other end. or thats what i got from what he said.
JeepcoMJ
....or spend $30 on a set of rough country disconnects and stop wasting your time.
mnkyboy
Here's mine, I made my first set but these are iron rock links for a zj that I turned in disconnects
tbunch
mnkyboy looks like he has the right set up. That way the only weak part is the bolt on the sway bar U bracket, which would be easy to carry a spare, and quick to change out!
mnkyboy
I would also reccomend making them removable if you go offroad. Here is Darrens (Goblazers_6) XJ on a 30 degree ramp when it was stock with the links disconnected.

JeepcoMJ
if all you have is 2.5" pucks your sort of SOL. buy a used set of their 4.5" ones, shorten the bar, and redrill the hole.
STERLING STINGER
so i gotta make them? nowhere sells spacers that are 2 -3" longer than stock???

Motion Offroad
Are you talking about the fixed length end links for a MJ that are for a 2-3" lift? Like these: We have them in stock...

Darren
I made these for about $30. Plus they will work for whatever height your at, just get a different length all-thread. Ignore the bracket on the swaybar, that was temporary for when I was a stock height, I've since changed it, but don't have a pic.
