AMC-MJ
I bought my Comanche to build a V8 mini truck with out doing another S10/S15 or Ranger/Sonoma, It ended up becoming a back up driver for my K2500 diesel . . . Once I sold the diesel the MJ became the primary/daily driver ! This winter will hopefully be it last then it will get repowered and used a daily summer driver ;-) ! Dirteatr717
Called out of work 3-4 times so I could go out and make more money shoveling in ~3 hours then I would've working 10 everyday! All my neighbors call me before the snow even starts falling :D now if only I could get my camaro out of the driveway to slap my lift on :wall:
kro10000
5pm-my brother bough 96 landrover discovery :D 6pm-tested landrover on couple unplow road. its went through fine no problem Land rover might not have been the best choice. Be prepared for EVERYTHING to stop working or explode catastrophically. Auto service teacher in high school had one, and had nothing but problems. He eventually fixed it and sold it as far away as he possibly could.
Dechion
Wednesday I woke up early when the power went out. (makes the alarm on my the UPS for my TV go off). Spent a couple hours making sure everything stayed warm and such at the house. Called in to work about an hour before I had to be there and was told not to bother, and since the power (and with it the furnace) was back on I just went back to bed. Sometime about ten my son and I went out to dig our way to the street, occasionally stopping to go help the fools that were trying to drive little plastic no ground clearence having cars through 2 feet of unplowed snow... then wondering why they got stuck. :shake: I think the most fun of the day was helping dig out the snowplow that got stuck out front of the house. Didn't get any good pics of my MJ as we were clearing up, but here's a few of me and my son diggin out. (I think you can see my hood in one pic, the drift in front of it was level with the grill) http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 1000876086

Automan2164
I have some stories for sure. I work for a public works dept as a mechanic... I spent the last 48 hours pulling out our dump trucks, pickups, and clearing paths to start plowing in our loader. Not to mention a laundry list of broke crap. But, I have been up for WAAAAAYYY to long right now to continue. I just want to relax. I'll catch you guys up after I get caught up on some Z's. Rob L. tbunch
With the 2wd to 4wd conversion not finished yet. This is how the Comanche looked. When the wifes TJ got stuck here's what it looked like Here's my Commando to the rescue. We got between 15-20" of snow around our parts.

But I'm not swapping to 4WD instead I'm swapping the I4 / 4spd / 3.73 for a V8 / 5spd / 4.10 combo ;) ! This should be my MJ's last winter ! AMC-MJ
Nice looking Jeep's to bad 2 out of 3 were burried in snow, But if that MJ had a set of tires like mine on the rear I bet it'll drive right out of where its sitting. Mike

COMANCHERED
Well the big MJ was down waiting for new injectors and the little MJ was down waiting for the front end pieces to get painted, so I drove around in the Cherokee. It snowed about 12" last night and the wind blew it around a bit so there's gonna be some nice and hard drifts out there once the temp drops to well below zero. I'm sick of it! You guys gotta be breaking stuff, but I bet there's some cool stuff. I just saw yesterday a Kenosha City truck, the size of a City plow truck, but with no dump bed, and it had a hydraulic snow blower on the front. This snow blower was the size of 2 large cars stacked on top of eachother, it had to be 7ft tall by whatever a dump truck plow blade would be, 10ft? wide. with hydraulic lines going everywhere, and the chute was a few feet taller than the roof of the cab. I want one.
