Interesting. Might be an easy way to obtain heat when the heater core blows up out or for auxiliary heat. Gotta be easier than replacing the heater core. :ack:

i had trouble with the mj heater assembly, so what to do, what to do. rip and tear is my motto. its been a cold winder so far with the window part way down, and no heater. long underwear yaa. this will give good heat i think. deciding the best place for it now. dave

From 86 XJ Waggy:

front end (Grille/header assy and chrome bumper), one front fender, doors with all power options, power antenna, cig lighter, clock, front skid plate, T/C skid plate, radio, dual tone horns, stainless windsheild trim

From ZJ:

Front sway bar

From unknown MY XJ:

Aluminum Limited or Up Country style lace wheels, Rear bumper-chrome- adapted to fit

From 07 JK Wrangler:

Front and rear shocks-adapted to fit

From YJ Wrangler:

Stainless stock length front and rear brake hoses

From 06 Grand Caravan:

Power steering resevior

From 99-04 WJ:

Electric cooling fan- adapted to fit

Made a couple changes. I always had issues with the caravan resevior because one of the hose fittings wasnt the right size. I found one from a Dodge journey had the right size fittings and was deeper, so I have that now.

Also installed a set of JK wheels with spidertrax adapters.

Getting ready to go find a WJ booster and master to replace my vac leaky MJ booster.

None of this includes the ton of parts transferred over from my 86 MJ. AC, PS, 4wd, 5spd, 4:10's

Thought this might be interesting to see what MJ mods you have used from non-MJ vehicles on your MJs. I'm not talking about aftermarket parts/upgrades; I mean mods you've made to your rigs using actual parts from a non-MJ vehicle, like a Taurus fan, XJ/WJ master cylinder/booster, Ford 8.8 axle, etc. Here's my list:

Buick steering wheel

2004 Wrangler power steering pump/brackets

2001 XJ intake manifold

1995 ZJ quick ratio steering gear box

ZJ V8 sway bar, tie rod

WJ lower control arms

Mitsubishi CD player and sound system

Mercedes W124 ambient temperature display

Ford Explorer rear disk brakes

1996 XJ booster and master cylinder

Porsche side marker lights

Porsche 411 interior lights

XJ bucket seats & console

XJ power windows and mirrors

Dual XJ electric fans

Dodge 134A alternator

Pictures or I don't believe!

Also... do you notice a difference between old and new intakes? I have an extra new style that I've been throwing the idea back and forth
