Sup y'all? I bought my MJ a while back and got her running again. Now I've thought through about the things I plan to do for her. it'll be a long build though due to shortage of cash. After driving the MJ for a while I've found some things I need to do before I go major. I plan to make a 1/2 ton workhorse out of it, like a 5.9L, NV4500, and NP231. I need to get it tuned up to new first though. Near-future plans will be included next post

On my way to the bank i noticed a big loss in power when i press the gas slightly, aka merging onto major roads. i think its another fuel problem or a cylinder malfunction. so i've got to look into that when i do the tune up.

when i got home i decided to check around the a/c and heat to see any problems. the thing is i don't have a wiring diagram so i don't know what fuses and wires are missing. i also tried to repair some of the wires under the hood, damn squirrels... and I'm also puzzled about what else is missing on the dash. i know one spot over the heat and ac is the radio, but whats the bottom one? here's some pics

kinda bored today :redX:

wish i had my own garage full of tools and equipment and about $10k so i can fix up the MJ. of course thats a long way away lol. :wrench:

TOTAL agree with you. I'm not even reach half way of tools that I need to work on vechicles. about 3/4 way to go to get full of tools that I need.

yeah i saw the 400+ tool set at Sears for like 500 bucks, might snatch that when i get the chance. its Craftsman and made in USA as well.

it should get most of the job done, but special and larger tools i'll have to get separate

sounds pretty good deal but IMO craftman is alright for use on vehicle. Snap-On and Matco are best tools to me to use on vehicles. IMO

I like craftman's lifetime warrenty but I don't like their air power tools. they fail two times to me so I'm not gonna use their air power tools anymore. :(

yeah i was hoping for craftsman hand tools so i can use it on anything from cars, boats, small engines, home, woodworking. and use snap on for power and speciality tools. i can't get snap on everything cause its too expensive.

For tools, go to craigslist. Or a pawn shop... Great deals.

good idea, i got a this set in a pawn shop back in Missouri. paid nothing but 5 bucks for them. and my dad said i was an idiot for buying them, hell I'm still using them a lot!
