Comanche_Fanatic Posted January 29, 2011 Author Share Posted January 29, 2011 did a bit of cleaning on the exterior of the fuel tank and some other parts. they where covered in rust... before and after time to clean the inside! then fix dents, then paint! Comanche_Fanatic Posted January 30, 2011 Author Share Posted January 30, 2011 got the insides cleaned out yesterday, did a pretty good job with only soap and water. i started painting as well, now i won't have to worry about rust anymore. its on the 2nd coat now, here's a pic. i should be able to put it all back together tonight or tomorrow. Comanche_Fanatic Posted January 31, 2011 Author Share Posted January 31, 2011 got the tank back in and cranked up the jeep. it runs great now, but the gas still leaks out... this is getting annoying now.. i also checked for blow-bys, and havent seen anything relating to one. i just think the valves are bad and need replacing. I'm lucky my grandfathers helping me with food, shelter, and gas money just for college alone. i got a feeling I'm gonna be forced to sell the MJ just so that i can afford my other payments, this is not looking good at all.
