now that's a pile up. it started around 11:30 this morning and they're still cleaning it up. they had to stop since the visibility is so bad. the interstate is closed anyway due to the weather. i'd rather see them do it when it's safe. they did get all the injuries taken care of right away and all the people are now out of thier cars and in a safe place. just the mangled metal to get rid of now. what a mess! :ack:

Wow, complete opposite story here, it was around 70 degrees for most of the day so I put the top down on my brothers TJ (I stole it from him since he left town) and cruised around all day.

Though I really want it to snow for a week just so finally getting my MJ 4wd again is worthwhile.

I think this is the one.

Learn how to drive! Thats just an average day around here. Only once have i seen a car sliding down a hill with 4 locked tires like most of those cars, and then I calmly parked my car, walked out into the road and pushed the sliding car into the ditch before he hurt someone. Then I got back into my car and drove up that same street, just to prove my point. :shake:

i don't know how it is in norway, but around here most people are in too much of a hurry, and if they have 4x4 they think they're invincible. add ABS, and they really think they can do anything they want...

this

I'll never understand why some people (most of whom are allegedly intelligent enough to know better) seem to think that THEIR vehicle (or THEIR superhuman driving skill) makes them immune to the laws of Physics that have just obviously put 20/30/50/??? vehicles in the ditch.

Antilock brakes have only made it worse.

Yeah, I saw that vid of the springs and laughed. The SD could have made it if he kept on it, I have no idea why he let up and then locked the brakes. Any one of them could have released the brakes and been able to steer while rolling backwards.

Me? I love driving in the snow. I never understood how so many people could be so bad at it though. (yes, I am that guy doing 65 on the highway in 3 inches... I know how to handle my vehicles, including braking in the slick stuff)

:agree: but with my Subie Impreza its even more ton fun. I know its awd but still slippary. still need winter tires. I hate how people be ego to try pass me on slick road like company van. I has seen couple crash from try to be faster in snow like try to pass me then zoom away.

this one in colorado look kind same condition in my chicago area expect icy under the snow. my area keep plowing and add salt.

My car is color black but now its almost full white now
