The BOMB Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 well it has been a while since i have updated my build thread but work has continued, i finished up the engine swap with the hardest part being wiring up the rear tail lights. After I wired it up i have been working on it for a while. and after adding some rock rails I finally took it out The only thing i really had problems with was the gearing was a little to high so crawling was difficult the clutch driving was a little hard. it also got mighty warm in the cab. the jeep did very well over all. so it was a good run. :D
neohic Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 ...hardest part being wiring up the rear tail lights. What did you end up doing for the tails?
bottomline89 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Ok. i'm picking this thread back up. I love the army green. i read this thread a long time ago and that color was stuck in my head so today i started the process and sanded and painted my hood today. I never actually read your whole thread but i really like what you've done to your "Joop". I hate to seem like i'm stealing your ideas but i came up with them before i saw ur thread. i'm planning rusty's offroad fender flares and rusty's 6.5 inch long arm kit  i promise not to steal too much.
