Paint Color to use

I stripped my light blue 89 Comanche down to bare metal and am in the process of getting the body work done and it repainted. Need help deciding on a paint color. Needs to be blue since the interior is all blue still. Jambs are getting painted. Bed is pulled. My current thought is Aqua blue marine that is used on the Chevy Camaro. Any other good choices? Bed Liner is Black, Bumpers are from JC Offroad front and Back and will be black. Currently have a set of new black Bushwhacker fender flares to install but am looking for other options there as well. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Spending a ton of money to get it painted right and body straight as possible want to have a color that will really show it off.

Mid '90's Ford truck color. I did this in a two tone on a 1959 VW Microbus I had. Great color blue. I think called Bright Lapis blue metallic. Just my 2 cents....

My 2000 Cherokee is "Patriot Blue," which is a pretty nice, dark blue metallic. The next year, Chysler came out with an even darker blue, the name of which I don't know, which is what my brother got on his PT Cruiser. I really REALLY like the super-dark blue on the Cruiser.

Big fan of Patriot Blue. When and if I get around to it, I'll re-paint my MJ the original dark blue thats on it. I like it also.

Thanks for the ideas. I will go and take a look at the Patriot Blue. The truck is at the shop and I don't have access to the VIN but I believe it was the medium blue metallic. Still doing body work, have some time.

 

Any thoughts on Fender Flares other than Bushwacker. I can't seem to find any others that are for the rear of a comanche and I don't think a Cherokee Flare is the same.

You could always go with silver. Jeep has about the best silver paint color on the market IMHO. I know mercedes had a silver exterior and blue interior option.

My 86 Cherokee parts vehicle is silver with the light blue interior.

I like the way it is right now. bare metal silver Just need to clear coat it to keep it from rusting. :yes:
