There's actually an M101a1, an M101a2 & an M101a3, I'm trying to find the correct dimensions for all,

some say 76" long for the a1, others say 96' (one source even said 55" long :nuts: )

Either way it looks like it would be pretty easy to cut down.

 

The width between wheelwells seems dead on for us (~43")

I seriously considered doing this when I did my frame repairs.. The thought process resulted in my building me Jeep Trailer!!

Only issue could be the width:

 

I be it would still look great with the MJ lines, but narrowing it might be better for a trail truck (atleast on tight NE trails).

I actually found that thread, then could not find it again later. :nuts:

 

They list the width between the wheel wells elsewhere in that thread,

I thought it had said ~43", but re-reading the thread, it's posted as 45.5".

 

Ours is also under 48" ( :dunce: engineers), so 45.5" should be nearly dead on.
