STERLING STINGER Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I think it looks stupid. It has some cool parts tho
kro10000 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I'm struggling on deciding on an opinion for this truck... Some people put WAY too much faith in a D30
jpdocdave Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 I'm struggling on deciding on an opinion for this truck... Some people put WAY too much faith in a D30 how about dangerous, or death trap?
WahooSteeler Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 uh, i don't think that driveshaft is gonna hold up to much of what that 350 can put out and trying to turn over 44s.
92comanche4x4 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 do they even make 5.38s for a d30. and it has locking hubs
jimoshel Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 There are cleverly concealed hydraulic motors in the hubs. Everything else is just for show. :rotf:
-600JeepMJ Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 :fool: I would like to meet the person that is willing to buy that  I have some ocean front property in Arizona I would like to sell
jimoshel Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 First Chile, Then California. If I was you I'd hang onto that future to be beach.
jpnjim Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 craigslist ad:I haven't had it real long but it has been fun in the time that I have owned it. :clapping: Translation, come get this thing before the D30 explodes. It's probably a CJ D30 (= weaker than what we run, but with weak lockout hubs to match). I can hear those D30 wheel bearings crying from here. :rotfl2: It might be a fun truck with less lift & some one ton axles.
jpnjim Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 The funny thing is, the truck builder gave up all that D30 clearance by adding all those steering dampers. I'm digging the steering linkage tho, I don't know why we don't see 4 foot drop drag links more often. :D I think that's still gonna need a few more dampers.
jpdocdave Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 It wanders around on the road a bit like you would expect. ya think? nice drag link.
500 MJ Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I'm not so certain that either of those axles were designed to operate facing downward... This one belongs on the scary steering website.
