Nice having the mount thou the tube, but can you get in there to weld? If not there is little advantage. I couldn't, so I extended the mount and ground it so it half encircled the pipe. CW
Stumpy Posted September 17, 2006 Author Posted September 17, 2006 for the fumes i had a mask on and a good fan blowing where i was weldin so the fumes blown outside. i was thinkin about taking the mounts all the way through the bumper but it would sit too close to the body, so i am going to add bracing to the mounts. well got it done and mounted for now.. not bad for my first bumper i guess..best thing is all the material was free!! :twisted:

CWLONGSHOT Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Looks GREAT!!! I really like the single tube look!!! When I did mine, I wanted it as close to the body as I couile get it. thats why I cut the ends to better fit the body, yet still offer some protection for the sheet metal. CW
