atv tiers

I'm looking to buy atv tiers for the near future i ride trails with a bit of everything throen in mud water dirt rocks ect so waht do you guys recomend?

here is my opinion

 

GBC dirt devil- ran them for a little while. honestly, they werent much better than a good stock tire.

Kenda Executioner- good in really thick mud but that was pretty much it. bumpy for trails, crappy in rocks and sand.

ITP Mud Lite- very versatile tire actually. wonderful in mud and were pretty good on the general trails.

 

Current tire that i run is the ITP TerraCross. radial tire, good wear. easily the best tire i have ever run. the amount of traction they get is superb. super grippy in rocks and wet conditions. however, if thick mud is your thing then i wouldnt run them cause they tend to clog. i don't do thick mud unless thats the only way through so that doesnt bother me.

 

My dad is running the Mud Lite XTR radial. this is great tire too and is great in the thick mud. If i had to buy a new tire, i would get the TerraCross, with the XTR a close second.

me i like the kenda executioners they are awsome in the mud, they are awsome in water,good on the trails, and towing they work wonders tred pattern is awsome

My father runs the kenda bear claws on his 350 big bear,he uses the quad for search and rescue and seems to really like the bear claws. :cheers:

But then All my tires I buy anymore are Kenda as my wife works for Kenda :clapping:

I cast my vote for the mud lights. I ran a set on my old 300 suzuki king quad and LOVED them. They were great in the mud and also had good manners on the harder packed stuff.. I just put a set of mud light xt's on my new 750 king quad and have no complaints with them so far. One thing I noticed about the regular mud lights was that they still seemed to "bite" pretty good even after they were significantly worn down.

83 buks fer the kenda's thats pretty cheap fer them aggresive tires

Depends what you REALLY want out of the tire.

 

I have the Titan 489XT (http://www.carlisletire.com/products/at ... index.html) on his machine. They seem to wear a little better. Both of us are running the tires on relatively stock Wolverine 350's (2000 and 1995 respectively).

 

Ran the ITP Holeshots on my old Blaster. A very well built tire. I would probably take a hard look at the ITP Bajacross for my next set of tires.

 

Sheesh, looks like you should just run tractor tires if interested in the Silverbacks! Those = a bit much :rotf:

ive done abit more lookin around and its either gunna be gac dirt devil dirt tamers or dirt comanders i like them all but cand decide. i run the dirt devils on my old kawai bayou 400 and i love them so thats what i may go with
