WBKrazy
i think it looks good man, it's a different direction than these trucks usually head in... i agree with the bigger tire idea too.... next 2 things i would do is tint them windows! and debadge it. jpdocdave
not for me, but i'm suprised. any other jeep forum i've been on that would have gotten you beat down and blasted to no end. i won't go that far, but i don't like seeing jeeps like that, just me though. :rotfl2: anytime the wheels are worth more than the vehicle, you gotta wonder. icurunnin
well I put them up for sale and had a guy offer me a nice trade on some 22" american racing polished aluminum 5 stars and cash my way. I will post pics up if I get them. They have a taller tire so should look better and ride better.
tuscangardens
man, you need to keep these things old school.......are you rap star?
pilotblake
If it is a 4x4, you need to find someone on here that has a 2wd and trade them. In the world of guys dreaming of doing the 4wd swap, that is just a shame. On the other hand you should notch and bag it so it can sit in the weeds when you park it. I'd like to see a comanche laying sparks too.
icurunnin
man, you need to keep these things old school.......are you rap star? wow your special! so I put big rims on my truck and I am a rapper? so everyone here with a lift and big tires are rednecks? and yes it is a 4x4. I wouldnt mind swapping for a 2wd since I never use the 4x4 around here. kind of a waste to have since they shut all the wheelin spots down. I would like a 2wd swb in the same condition (no rust and with a/c)
MrSimon
anytime the wheels are worth more than the vehicle, you gotta wonder. If you are talking wheels AND tires .... then you are talking about 90% of the guys on this board
jeep_freek88
The wheels are too big.The brakes are too small. The tires are too thin. Its the wrong choice for a 4x4. And in my humble opinion it looks gayer than Elton John riding a Unicorn over a rainbow. I would expect the driver of a rig like that to be on his way to the Liquor store for to cash his welfare check and buy some KOOL's and a Colt 45. Basicly what I'm trying to say is that its not for me. lmfao .......funny!!!!!!! ok I think the wheeles are pretty cool, but not on a comanche. Whatever floats your boat man

WahooSteeler
i still say 20s MAX, 18/19s are probably perfect IMO. check out the new guy's rig in Germany on 18s with some meat. if that truck, and yours, was lowered about 2" i think it would look even better. but you GOTTA find those same Foose wheels in the smaller size, they just rip! viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16005&p=161598#p161598
BLHTAZ
man, you need to keep these things old school.......are you rap star? wow your special! so I put big rims on my truck and I am a rapper? Yea...first post is a flame :shake: . That is not the type of thing that we do around here. Express your opinion, yes, but be nice about it or just stay out of the thread :smart: . so everyone here with a lift and big tires are rednecks? You say that like "Redneck" is a bad thing. Being a Redneck is something to be proud of...it's not an insult  .

Taz, his response wasn't derogatory, he was making a point about stereotypes in that just because he likes his rig with big street rims and low-pro tires, why is he stereotyped as a rap star? And, that it would be the same if he generalized that all the other trucks on here that are lifted with off road tires etc. makes the owners rednecks. Essentially, he was even defending those, like you and me, that build there trucks that way that they should not be stereotyped either.
BLHTAZ
Well, you apparently have a real easy-going positive outlook because I can not see that a post like that could be taken any other way than negative. I guess that's the perils of the internet though...no one knows the intention of typed words on a screen without clear use of non-offensive structure and emoticons. If it was not meant as a flame, then he needs to learn how to post, and make it obvious that it's not flaming, like everyone else works hard to do around here  . For now...I stand by my analogy of the situation and I have no reason to believe otherwise...especially since it's his first, and only post so far.
WahooSteeler
Taz, I think you've got something mixed up here. The thread is icurunnin's, and he has 77 posts to date. Tuscangardens posted the flame comment, and yes, that was his first post. And yes, it was a flame. And yes, I agree with you that is BS. But the Redneck comment was a response from icurunnin to Tuscan regarding his rap star stereotype, basically saying that if Tuscan thinks icurunnin is a rap star for having his truck look like that then Tuscan must also think almost everybody else here is a redneck for having lifted trucks with off road tires. The exchange was between those two, not icurunnin stating his opinion of the majority of members here, i.e. built for off road. I may be wrong but I don't think so. I don't think icurunnin was saying "well it's ok you think i look like a rap star because i think everybody else here is a redneck". a simple solution would be to ask icurunnin if that is what he meant and/or thinks. I think you misinterpreted his point and who it was directed at, tuscangardens. But to keep this lighthearted, I'll bet you a 6-er of BLL on it.
BLHTAZ
OK...yes, my comments about flaming were about tuscangarden. I had no problem with the redneck comment...just informing that being a redneck is a thing of pride, not disgrace. Sorry if I did not make it clear

BLHTAZ
Looking for a swb 2wd i6 ax5 model. Sorry, but there is no such thing. The 4.0L came with either the BA10/5 or the AX15. The AX15 is the best of the bunch, and likely what you meant to be looking for. The 2.5L had the AX5.
