Akula69
YEAH - its snowing like a biatch here - got about 3" on the ground and it's still falling. It is supposed to snow unitl 1200 hours. :clapping: (editor's note - I realize this is not interesting to you northern folks with all the snow you get. But it only snows here like once in a blue moon, and whne it does it almost never collects on the ground). DirtyComanche
We had a tech rep from Atlanta, GA, up here yesterday... He was taking pictures of the snow. We thought it was funny, so we gave him some pictures from heli-skiing so he could better appreciate snow. Nice guy, told me a lot of good stuff about starter-generators. Wildman
:teehee: We don't have any snow up here........yet. Little dusting, and south of the city, the ski slopes are open with a 3 foot base. About time you people south of the Mason-Dixon line get some of the white stuff :teehee:
HOrnbrod
Crap Akula69, that means we'll be getting it this evening too. It's in the forecast starting after 2400 hours. Damn we've had two dustings already one about 2"! I think I'll move back up north with Mr. Wildman where it's warmer.........

I wouldn't say it's warmer up here........not after last weekend.....down to 11* and most of the past week high of 20's. Just the winds have been right, and all the snow blew down south, so far. And a good thing too.........I still have not got my plow on the MJ  I just like the idea that people that never get the snow, have a little taste of it ever now and then..........we get our share up here, and like to spread it around ever now and then :D Mr. hornbord, can you even buy a snow shovel at the hardware store down there???? :teehee:
HOrnbrod
I think they are available only through special order only Bob. :D The snow never amounts to anything near enough to need a shovel. We do get more of the freezing rain variety though, like last night. Bad stuff......

Akula69
It's all melting now...guess it was fun for awhile. We lost a huge oak branch in the front that barely missed my Taurus. Some pics: My Son and the Christmas Jeep (looks really like Christmas now... ;) ) Woods at the back. (We have about 500 acres behind and beside us) Taurus Tree that tried to squash it They sanded the overpasses this morning for the folks who have never driven in anything slippery :rotfl2: but the low was about 33 degrees at the most. Being origionally from Ohio kinda gives me perspective on your position Wildman...I've seen both sides of this snow thing. I happen to like it...wife hates it but like I told her...I'd rather have more then two seasons a year (meaning hot and wet for Louisiana). Akula69
Ah, we got a lot more then the pictures show...most were taken in the begining when it was first coming down. In the end, the MJ looked a lot like yours. Kinda wet now though.
