This popped into my head the other day...ive seen the bezel for the cargo light, but what does the rollbar light switch look like? Do they just use the same foglight bezel? Or do they use the space to the right of the trans switch and use a different icon?

jeep offered a install kit that included a switch and the wiring to be fished through the roll bar but did not have lights for the bars

My '87 has the roll bar lights. Switch is in the bezel to the left of the steering column and uses the same icon as the fog lights. Mine does not have fogs, so I don't know what they did if you got both.

Does the stock sport bar block the cargo light? Were these options mutually exclusive? I would guess the sport bar light switch would replace the cargo light switch if you have fog lights.

There are four switch position, enough for everybody. To fill them on the XJ, it was fog, rear wiper, rear defroster, and power switch for automatic. On the MJ it would be fog, cargo, roll bar, and power switch. If you need more you have to lose the automatic.

The rollbar does block the cargo light, makes it kind of a pain to replace the bulb.
