  1. This isn't really a build thread so much as a journal. I posted up as many of the old pictures I've got from over the years. Its been a great little truck and has many memories attached to it. TDi swap, frame stiffening stuff begins on page 5, three-link stuff begins on page 6. Keep in mind that I am updating this thread as I progress. Got her in October of '07 from another CC member: KYMJ A nice, rust-free, 4x4 MJ with all the right stuff for a good price. Had to jump on it!

  3. Picked up a Swb 4cyl,5spd,4x4 last week to build into a crawler now that my 88lwb is done and driving nice! tentative plans are as fallows: Keep stock drive line except axles those will be a G2 44 that I will pull from my other MJ as it just does street and gravel road stuff, rear axle will be an Isuzu rodeo 44( these axles use same larger 9” ring gear at the jk rubicon’s and a pinion that rivals a d60! Will also be doing a 231/231 doubler and goal tire size is 37-40’s! will be doing 2x6 rockers full interior cage tied to bed cage and bobbing the bed I’m thinking 8”
  4. I just recently purchased a Rock Trac t case that came out of a 2010 JK that had 30k miles on it. I'm looking at the very least replacing the 231. I have plans on doing the AW4 to AX-15 or Nv3550 swap. While swapping the tranny that's when I plan on going with the Rubi case. My first question is will the Rock Trac bolt up to the AX-15 as I know that the Rock Trac was only bolted up from the factory to the NV3550 and the NSG370? My next question is what do I do with my speedo? I was thinking of just running without it. It's more of a trail rig anyway. And the last question is: since I do have 2 other Np231's lying around, has anyone done or heard of someone doing a 231/241 doubler? I've tried to research a kit for the rubicon mating to the 231 and I've come up empty-handed. The only thing that pops up on the radar is the northwestfab kit for a 231 mated to their ecobox. It doesn't mention the rock Trac that I'm aware of. Any help would be much appreciated.
