  1. yea i know, that's what i meant. but you could only do it if you had bucket seats anyways... i've junked a few comanches with perfect ebrakes on them...never gave it a second thought....
  2. do it yourself is what DIY means, and you can get the 5.0 injectors off ebay or at a local parts store. they mean mustang 5.0 injectors i believe
  3. yea but if he removed the dash, the title doesn't do any good anyways...
  4. disassemble the face of the cluster, and remove the speedometer. you will need to remove the needle and face...to remove the needle, look closely you will see where it connects, and pry it upwards gently til it pops off. to reinstall, you will notice a little white mark below the 5 mph mark..the needle needs to be lined up with that mark (set the gauge at an angle like it is in the truck and line it up...it will be all the more accurate) once it's apart, you will need to remove some clips and a couple screws to take apart the odometer i believe. you don't need to remove the trip meter...that is a seperate mechanism. best of luck!
  5. unfortunately i don't...It looks like a candy blue of sorts. i was thinkin the same thing...my dad's truck is blue and he wanted it black but this would look good...
  6. luckily, i put a battery in it and it fired up and purred like a kitten. I only have to re-attach the heater blower wires, do a better job of washing it, clean/vacuum the interior (remove seats and febreeze the crap outta everything too) and I need to clean up the top clips and seals so that everything latches properly. I'd love something similar though, it's ballsy and looks cool without the top on it..especially cause i don't fit in it with the top on very well...
  7. oh, i agree. which is why it's NOT MINE!!!!!!!! :D
  8. throw it on a trailer and haul it in yoruself. or call them and say you have a car hull they can have for free. if they're close they should be more than happy as they can simply crush it and send it in to be melted down...having all the rubber and cloth and wires makes scrap less valuable. but you should have no problem getting rid of it.
  9. the pioneers were available with no power optioins as well...my brother's 88 is proof. it never had a/c, bucket seats, or power windows or locks. it was a 2 wheel drive with black trim everywhere and a rear slider. that's it after we converted it to 4wd and we put the new tires and rims on it. and the new front end and rust-removed from everything and undercoated chrome everything, power mirrors. but basically, just cause it was one package doesn't mean that it had everything...you COULD customize it as a buyer to whatever you wanted from factory. But I think yours is a genuine laredo package if it's tilt and buckets. is it power doors and locks?
  10. maybe start by dividing up into states and providences?
  11. check the wires for power with a test light. if they have power, great, if not, that sucks. if they don't then you either have a bad relay, a bad connection (anywhere between the computer and fuel pump), or a bad computer. if they do then your pump might not be any good?
  12. haha, those bucket seats are mine...the auction is for the brackets themselves but i'm throwin in the buckets for $100 extra. shipping will be a PITA...like $200 for the seats and brackets
  13. ooooh looks like factory sport buckets on a longbed? is that a laredo?
  14. Jeepco=norwiegian sorry...i'm blond too
  15. are you looking for manual or auto? manual bolt-ups are the t4 and t5, and ax4 and ax5. also, some select few dodge dakota ax15's. if you can find the ax15 or the aw4 with the right pattern, that's the way to go.
  16. do you have the one with the big fuel pump gauge and the dummy lights, if so, it's easy. the main thing is that you have to get a oil pressure sending unit for your engine size with the gauges, and a temp. sending unit for your engine with gauges as well. other than that it will bolt up. if you have the fuel pump cluster with the temperature and/or the oil gauge, you will not have to switch the sending units (most likely). then it's complete bolt up, switching the sending units respectively to their corresponding gauge. if you have a cable driven speedo, then get an xj cluster from one with cable drive. one from the same year or relatively close to your year would work, but you HAVE TO switch out those sending units, or your oil pressure gauge won't work and your temperature gauge won't work.
  17. eesh that's no good. bet they were nice tho. this one runs GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's pretty peppy too. still smells like rat sh*t tho
  18. power slider? please elaborate!
  19. i say you have the power brackets, tear out the mj bench, cut off the bolts, figure out how to center and level the power brackets, drill holes and bolt them in. weld the bolts on the under side, wire power and ground, and call it a day. i'd LOVE to have power seats
  20. with inginuity you can make it work
  21. bonkers..that's pretty radical. i agree with some of what you say...but regarding illegal immigrants, we can't force them to serve the military. we can, however, deport them and shoot them at the border as they come over...maybe then they'd do it legally. BUT then we do need to make it easier for them to come over legally. i'm not racist by any means, but i'm SICK of my welfare payments going to illegal immigrants who get sick, go to the hospital, and can't afford it...in which case WE pay for it. it just ain't right.
  22. i disagree with the 3000 more terrorist deaths. we should have zero. we should act on FACTUAL intelligence and go after the people who do do things like that. we should also let the president tap the phone lines of KNOWN terrorists or correspondents of terrorists as that is a matter of national security. at least, though, we have only a year or so of bush left. unfortunately, there's no good alternative. and if you say Hillary, YOU'RE AN IDIOT. my 2 cents
  23. eagle, you are correct. i think. haha, i'm just fixing it and driving it a bit before they sell it. one sold recently in rough shape for 20k. this is hardly in rough shape...ZERO rust, just smells bad and has the crack in 1 fender, and needs a new passenger window. i'll find out more stats as i go...it has .1 miles on it (according to odometer) but it can't be right? we'll see.
  24. idk, put an ebrake from a cherokee in it. that should work pretty good :D
  25. tell him to MAKE SURE he gets a torque wrench with the proper spec.s for the head, as well as the torque specs for the head. if it isn't torqued in right, you could have another bad gasket, cracked head, etc.
