what stock axle do you have? if it is a dana 35 then the upgrade is worth it. (8.25 is SOOO much more durable)

spring perches are in the wrong location...you will need to move them regardless (I forget if they're farther out or in, but they're not correct) -Pat

the basket he built from aluminum (1" round stock I think) in a shop class (he tig welds stainless exhaust for aircrafts) the bars are a set of bars we got off of a grand cherokee I had gotten way back when, and he's actually got two sets of kayak racks for it as well, but the bars need to be about 4" longer you should see his back rack :brows: Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found

Hey Pat, it's wednesday. I don't wanna harrass ya man but the suspense is killing us :D damnit it's killing me too. :roll: I've gotta make a 3 hour drive first. monday didn't fly cause i was busy picking up some parts from a junkyard for the 87 mj (scored OEM rear bumper with a slight tweek, and full set of tow hooks :D) working so much, I haven't kept up the maintenance on the 3800 either...changed oil on monday at 2000 over, need a new TRE at the pitman arm, and the accident apparently damaged the rim and axle seals (great... :roll: ) this coming monday. all I have to say is, I'm not worried about the dent.

you thought that's alot? troubleshoot running issues with my 87 4.0 (CPS? fuel delivery?) build UCA's and LCA's and swaybar links 4wd front axle install with front lift 4wd trans install with shift linkage and 231 tcase SOA dana 44 rear install remove and clean A/C box wire brush floor then bedline it re-install dash and interior minus headliner and carpet flush coolant reinstall header panel install new windshield build front bumper and install new rear bumper helluva lotta stuff to do. i hope everyone can get their stuff done.

I was a mod there for a long time. I am member #33 there, but I had to give it up because I could not get along with the owner (Cody) and one of the other mods. yeah...I get a laugh every time I visit their website. no one there really knows what they're talking about...or they post opinions more than facts.

probably from being smarter than they are. jeepforum guys are idiots who "think" they know stuff, and when proven wrong they do not back down and then jump all over each other's throats.

worry more about the weight of the tire than the diameter. you're not getting it to fit in there with the stock carrier, without having weight issues...it'll tear that cable lift to pieces. so, bedmount.
