Alrighty well i just purchased my 4th MJ tonight (10/14) and it is my 1st vehicle with a manual transmission. Ive been around here long enough to know the AX15 is preferred over the BA10 but always thought it was phased into the MJ in 1991 with the HO 4.0 engine. From some scanning and searching I now think my 1990 could have a AX15 installed. If so I'm more excited than i was just purchasing this truck. Its build date is 11/89 so its and early 90s model. Thanks for any info!

Got my front lifted today :D Rustys (I know :dunce: ) 2" Coils, Rough Country Adj. LCAs and a Skyjacker track bar bracket completes the front setup Truck pretty much now sits 3" or a bit more over stock and I think I'm finally done with the suspension for awhile. Next on my list is a Locker for the D30 and revamping my hood  -
gear oil question
ComancheKid45 replied to STERLING STINGER's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Id buy 4-6 cans of brake cleaner as well and spray out all you can while the cover is off the Diff. Otherwise thats about all there is 2 it, just hope with that many miles that noting big and metal falls out with the fluid -
^^^^ :rotfl2:  MY LCAs and springs are here :D Might work on installing those tomorrow...

I have my 44 installed with about 3" of lift on the rear. the D35 Driveshaft is installed as well and has about 1/2" of clearence before bottoming out at ride height. Now the front is 2.5" lower and will be lifted accordingly withen the next week or so I figure so ill see how everything plays out then. For now I'm running my D35 shaft with my D44 and unless i load the crap outta the rear I don't forsee any bottoming issues :smart: :typing:

Completed my D44 swap :D

ComancheKid45 replied to ComancheKid45's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Its in an Driveable! :clapping: Front lift components should be here in a few days but for now ill run 2.5" higher in the rear, lol. The driveshaft has enough slip yoke clearence it seems with this setup but getting that trimmed down some in the future may be on my list as well. Next up after front lift install is an Aussie/Lockrite Locker in the D30
