  1. I'll download tapatalk Saturday and try it out :D
  2. Ill try that but it'll probably kill my data lol. Might just have to start stopping at the library after work :/
  3. Dang. I need opinions on things which can't be explained through words. Darn you living so far out in the country that you have beautiful land but no home internet service!
  4. Maybe tapatalk can fix it for both of us lol.
  5. Even with the full version all of the buttons don't show up for me. Would tapatalk make it easier to post pictures? I could download it if I had to.
  6. I've already gotten downpat how to upload pictures from a computer.. but recently my mother had our internet cut off because it sucked and we couldn't afford it. So I'm stuck to using my cellphone for all Comancheclub actions. I tried taking the link from Photobucket and doing things just how you would on a computer but then I noticed that the options for replying on here are VERY limited when using a phone. None of the fancy stuff like on a computer, and it's understandable why. But still I'd like to somehow be able to post pictures... does anyone know how to from a phone? I've got a LG phone with an Android operating system, if that helps any. Thanks.
  7. I'm not able to watch the video because I have slow internet. But if it does it when you're going down the road and then you press in the clutch to slow to a stop, check your cat and muffler. Mine were exploded and cause my truck to die instantly whenever I pressed the clutch in last summer.
  8. My shift "light" is when the exhaust leak before the muffler gets to loud to bear :D
  9. Thanks for the link to the tips. Comancheclubs tough to use on my phone :D
  10. Do all of Cruisers tips. Check for vacuum leaks. Tps mostly fixed my stalling. Still does sometimes. REFRESH. GROUNDS. Important one there. I can assure you that you need to take off and clean your throttle body. Do you have to hold the clutch in at stops even when it's in neutral? It's a Renix. Great engine but I promise you're going to have a fun time finding the source of your problem. Look up my thread Stalling Out Craziness and you'll understand what I mean.
  11. I had thought to use JB weld at first but researched and found that JB weld was not rated for gas exposure. Best to be safe than sorry lol
  12. On a Renix it needs an elbow I believe so that it clears the vacuum lines in front of the schrader valve. I THINK, at least. If the female threads end up being the same as a gauge fitting then I know what I'm getting for my birthday heheh :D or are all gauge threads the same for pressure gauges?
  13. That's much better shipping prices. Definitely will order off there when I do. But upon searching Ebay I also found this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=400498514939&alt=web And it's 12$ shipped with a elbow adapter. It says that its a Schrader valve so would you think it would work? I messaged the seller for details on the size of the female end of the elbow to see if it matches up to what's required for the gauge. I'll buy the Casper if I have to. I'm just a little bit of a penny pincher if the quality doesn't differ between products.
  14. That's what I'm wanting to do, Mr Hornbrod. I just can't find that straight adapter fitting on anywhere other than the website you had a link for and it says 10$ shipping on top of the 13$ part. Any chance that a store around here would have them? I wouldn't mind the shipping if it wasn't such a small part and the shipping costs almost as much as the product itself...
  15. Crap. Well it was worth changing any ways. Now just to wait for a fuel pressure test. Which is also why I messaged you about the gauge fittings. I'm tired of dealing with renting a gauge all the time lol. Just trying to find somewhere that sells the straight adapter and doesn't have 10$ shipping.
  16. Well it was the perfect day today to do a pressure test. Ended up not raining at all. But of course Oreillys forgot to order a new pressure gauge. In other words I changed my ballast resistor. And it's interesting because my fuel pump is no longer loud as hell. It's silent but I can tell it's working because I hear a small silent motor sound with a click to tell me the motor stopped when pressure built up. Also I found that my old ballast resistor was shatter on the inside. Could this have been a problem? Quite possibly. Didn't test the truck but I plan to when I get the pressure gauge.
  17. Did you remember to reset the throttle butterfly per Cruisers tips? Just a shot in the dark.
  18. Quik steel is a good epoxy for fixing a leak on those metal lines. Have had mine fixed with it for over a year and it doesn't leak at all. It is gas resistant. Also only about 4$ from Walmart for a tube that will last a long time. Just make sure to knead it well and press it ALL around the tube.
  19. Checked the vacuum bottle behind the bumper? Is it 4x4? If so, check the vacuum lines running to the vacuum valve on the front axle. Checked the vacuum lines on the passenger side of the engine? I had completely forgot about those at first and had a few that were cracked. They didn't fix my problem but ANY vacuum leak is a bug on Renix engines.
  20. No pressure test for me this weekend. Forecast is nonstop rain for Bama. Of course.
  21. I replaced the entire vacuum harness almost immediately when I got the truck. Leaks everywhere. Amazingly enough it didn't stall when I got it... go figure...
  22. Have you checked fuel pressure? If both of ours come up low then that could be something.
  23. Good to know. I'll get to finding prices and getting parts once I can get my truck drivable enough to go to a muffler shop. Thanks guys :D
