  1. Yes...if you ban someone, the attempt to login will be met with a message that tells you that you have been banned. I haven't posted over there in probably a year or more, but I just went over there, logged in and posted with no issues... :dunno:

  3. Yeah...sorry, I noticed after I posted that you had a '91, but I was in a hurry and didn't want to bother changing or removing the post...

  5. Send me the last 9 digits of your VIN. Even though I have been laid off, I believe I can still access that type of info for now. A paint code must be a 3 digit number, so while "4M" may indicate a color, it is not a paint code for someone to mix from.

  7. Yeah...it sounds like there is a loss of vacuum and the vacuum controlled door inside is closing and opening based on the angle of the vehicle. There seems to be enough vacuum there to hold it while level, but it's not strong enough to support it when you point the nose up

  9. If you check my post in DIY here... viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12517 It is the FSM and even though it says Renix, it also covers the 2.5. Go to the fuel pump section and it gives testing & adjustment procedures.
  10. Nice Jeep and some beautiful country there too.
  11. Don't know when you will see this, but I know how you feel...I've been through it too. Fortunately I purchased an external hard drive a long time ago and I do regular back-ups on it so the set up of the new computer was not a real difficult thing to do and I didn't loose anything of major importance. Hope all ends well...and soon for you CW.
  12. Well...today was a lot of work. I had to basically make a new résumé as I have not needed one in probably 10 years then I had to compile all the info needed to make up a reference page with names, employers, phone numbers etc, etc... I finally got through all that after about 3 hours and then I started searching the job sites on the Internet, but to no avail. I went out this afternoon and hit up 3 local dealerships...got a "sorry, no openings" at the first, no response yet from the second and the third actually asked me to come in for an interview tomorrow morning :D . It is a very large Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge dealership...just TAKE A LOOK HERE  I'll post results ASAP in the morning.
  13. I did the conversion to our YJ and have been very happy with it so far.
  14. Yes...get it and trim it. I put the bumper on mine (not JCR) without trimming and it looked silly so I went back and cut it a couple weeks later.
  15. I already filed for unemployment as that can be done online now so I did it last night as soon as I got home. The rest of the plan is being worked on as we speak. I have a couple of nibbles...one of which I am going to talk to today, but it's not a dealership. The other, if it works out, would not be for a few weeks at least. I will be spending a some time today doing the resumé updates today and searching the employment ads as well as hitting a few of the local dealerships. If I can get back in to a "Courtesy / Autonation" owned dealership within 30 days, I will keep all of my benefits and my "time served" ;) Thanks for all the support and input so far guys.
  16. I took this in the back your a couple days ago...
  17. Well...we looked a bit better tonight and got a win that was REALLY needed.
  18. Thanks again ya'll. I am not down about it yet...just getting over the shock. I am not the type of person to let worry and anxiety run my life. I obviously have to be concerned, but I am sure it will work out for the best. My biggest problem now is cash flow because of the industry being down so bad for many many months already, I have had to use a fair share of what I had in reserve so I don't have a large amount to fall back on and I am not cashing in on my retirement stuff unless I am about to loose everything. The Steelers are keeping in a decent mood so far tonight...
  19. I think that is a vBulletin thing... I have never seen it in phpBB
  20. Thanks to everyone replying. I thought I was "fairly" safe too, so as I said...it is a bit of a shock. Well...I'm about to start beer #4 and the Steeler game is getting under way so I am signing off for now
  21. Thanks man... My spirits are pretty good for now, but I have not told Tina (the wife) yet. I am working on a few cold BLL's before she get's home... She is the worrying type that let's things really get her down sometimes and I hate to do that to her. :???: She has been worrying that this would happen and I have been telling her not to worry...our dealership is in good shape and it will be OK...well...guess who is eating crow now...
  22. They are cutting out about 60% of the wholesale business...and I was the primary wholesale guy and the low man on the totem pole. We want to move to the Blue Ridge, GA area, but it is not a real strong area and employment there is a bit tough to come by. A lot of people in that area actually drive the 1.5 hour ride to Atlanta just to afford to live in Blue Ridge...but it's beautiful. Guess I should be voting for Obama then huh? NOT

That's the name of that stuff... :clapping: I couldn't remember when I was typing my previous message. :D
  24. As most all of you know, I have been a good connection for dealer parts and have done all I could to give anyone the best deal possible for buying from me, but unfortunately I was laid off today. It was an incredible surprise to me and everyone around me. I will be happy to continue to help with what knowledge I have and I obviously still have friends at the dealership that I can go to for help if needed, but my ability to get the "deals" is likely gone for now. Anyone know of any parts departments hiring in the Southeast US...preferably in the NW Georgia / SW North Carolina area??

Be careful giving him a bath as they are not supposed to get wet unless absolutely necessary as they are incredibly susceptible to illness. If a bath is needed, be sure to thoroughly dry him ASAP. We use half of a cat size dose of flea control on ours once about every 3 months and have no issues.
