  1. Not much body damage on the Cherokee. He was smiling afterwards. Still impresssed with theses rigs. That thing sat on it's side for a fair amount of time before we could get around to hook a strap. Then he strarted it before I could pull him back on all 4's. Fired right up, no smoke or nothen. Sure is a good thing dodge stoped making that 4.0  Thanks for the comp. on the Comanche.
  2. Got to do a little playing in Jacks grvel pit here in MN Saturday. Thought I'd share a couple Pics of my Comanche and Craig's (wife's, although he's always driving it) Cherokee.
  3. Now that sounds like a sound idea to me. Maybe vehicle desciptions and where you plan to stay too? Is there one person who will be in charge of taking said info and destibuting it then?
  4. Good start, where is this project headed? 4x4??
  5. Anybody going to this? www.rpm4x4.com
  6. Hope you have better luck with Craigs list than I have.
  7. The closer this date gets, the more I want to try and make it. For anyone who has been there, done that, which hotel would you recommend to actually get a good night sleep?
  8. I think I want to try to clear something up here. I got an email, and in it, I was asked if I had helped build this rig (red 2 door). No, I did not. He built that truck on his own long before I ever met him. He's a body man, etc. as am I. I was just trying to use humor by spoofing the old 6 million dollar man thing. By "we" could build ya one etc., I meant He, I, or maybe even him and I could collaborate to build one. I guess he would be the first choice since he's obviously done it, and done it very well. I do know he has seriously thought of building another one to sell, cause of how many people have expressed interest in his. Anyway, I just didn't want anybody to think I was trying to take credit for something I had nothen to do with. ;)
  9. Just to note, we could build ya one if you wanted it bad enough. We have the skills, we have the technology, we even have the parts!
  10. Hey I know that guy, lives in northern MN. It looks as nice close up as it does in the photo. Started as a 2 door cherokee. Comanche roof grafted in.
  11. Tough to tell from the photos, is that a long box or short bed you bobed? What title you going to use? Comanche or Cherokee? Looken good.
  12. I'm new here as well and can't catch up/keep up on posts, but thought I'd post up a thought or two here also. 2 runs sounds like a good idea but the same week/weekend doesn't sound so good. What if you got some guys that are right in between the two locations, now they have to flip a coin. Are the runs scheduled as a week long or just weekend? If it's weekend maybe do one location one weekend the other the next weekend? Is there a set date you guys do this run? Personally, I'd really like to check out the bad lands park in Attica Indiana. Haven't had luck yet scheduling a trip there with the local clubs from here. I know some of you have been there so I'd feel pretty good about meeting up with you there (I think  :dunno: ) I'd also like to toss the ORV park in Gilbert MN into the hat as an option. I've been there many a time so could even try and lead people if wanted. They have an excellent place and a great camping area too.
  13. Sounds like a good weekend! Wish it wasn't so far away, I'd like to check it out myself.
  14. Hi, I'm new to this forum so I thought I would see if I could post up a photo. I've got wicked slow dial up so it takes me a while to check out the web but I try when I can. My Comanche is an 87, I've got sort of a build up on my website (click here) and for some reason this has become my favorite photo. It was taken in the Gilbert ORV park in MN at the beginning of the lower Money talks trail. I even got it posted up on the Rough Country website. :D
