i got an 88 4.0 (renix)auto not sure that tranny never really needed to know but i wanted to know how much 4.10 would cost me and how much of a difference i would see from the stock 3.55 i got in there?

think just a second the temp of the gasses coming out of the head are really hot you think that the flex tube can hold that heat if it can when it cools backdown will crack? cause metel expands when it gets hot. when it cool it shinks back down with all those little bends...... and that can't be really smooth on the in side like it needs to be ? keep us up dated i want to know how it works after a month or so

i have pulled those doors before still remember yup the were heavy allright took 3 ppl to align the doors #1 to hold the weight #2 to align the doors and #3 to put the rollpins in place yup that olny took 2 hours and 3 monkeys with more tools than brains to do it right

well i had a lot of problems loging in the past 2 1/2 days :hateputers: and pete shot me an e-mail (not one of those auto responces) and helped me get back on :thumbsup: then the same problem happened :mad: ,(now that would have rubed me the wrong way if i was in his boots :wall: )and once again pete was very helpful and reset my password and name to the new e-mail address i got. :clapping: so i just wanted him to know that I felt that he deserved a thanks :bowdown:

next time ill just give whoever helps me a pm :shake:

:agree: i replaced the front berings on mine about 1000 miles ago water leaked in and those parts don't like water

once i get the money to do that i will (in college and no job) so life can't be as simple as adjusting a bolt? i know that it is that simple ...well kinda ...with a carb but on a fuel injection I'm not sure? :dunno:

looks great but i would have got wider axles . he can't go any faster turning or that thing would flip his center-of-gravity (CG) is high up there if it were mine about... about 6" less lift and full wigth axles none the less that looks way cool

so does he need to get dust covers still

don't know there is not cat on it is the o2 before or after mounting plate (looks like the sotck cat had a square mounting plate that the cat bolted to)

guessing from my exaust smell i am sure that i am running RICH i just wanted to know is there a way to tune this down by myself with basic tools ? if so any help would be great :D

how much of a gain did yall get dyno sheet (if you did one) would be nice and was there i minor or major difference not in sound cause i know that will change but in POWER when yall slaped the skinny to the floor

who knows if there is any after market headers for the 88 4.0 also if a shorty header or long tube is better for this motor

as for the rear end i run that purple stuff... is is 11.50 a quart and is grear i think i running 75-90 now once i tried 80-140 it felt like i was towing something

well that is a discontuned jl amp 250/1 i belive it is pushing about 500 watts it has poped 3 subs all were 12" fosgate p2 dual 4 ohms i had to cut out the back of the box and reseal it for the sub to fit here is a link to a vid of it on youtube :
