  1. From the first time I saw the new bed on this thing I knew it was just a waiting game before we would see it as MJOTM. Amazing work and stellar truck. Congratulations!
  2. I thought the plan was leaving Thursday and coming back on Sunday. :dunno: Also, no lady friend for me. Trying to convince another Jeeper to come along... sorry, not an MJ owner but a Jeep none the less.
  3. PM sent.
  4. ^Agreed! All of it! Grab as many MJs as you can to help us out! Rust free trucks bring a premium here and they are just too tough to come by. Buy a bunch and make a human centipede equivalent out of them! MN is in dire need of a good Jeep restocking. Where in MN are you thinking?

    Man cave:

I love my cave... the place is like an eternal game of eye-spy! Who wouldn't need old torches, welding helmets, and random parts on their walls? Gotta have one to match the MJ too: Of course, the steering wheel clock: Can't forget about the documentation of past projects... or at least past tail pipes: Please excuse my dust. Gonna miss this place. :(
  6. 'bout time for a build page! :clapping: Good luck on everything.
  7. I love this truck. Thank you for building it just right.
  8. Totally agree! DIY kits are great for saving cash, but it really comes down to the prep that you do. Follow the kit's instructions to the fine details and it should work out just fine.
  9. Hmm... so, on his '87, there is a screw on the side of the throttle body that is right above the EGR. On my '88, it is plugged with a rivet. It came down to it that the screw was backed out slightly and he tightened it back in... fixed the problem. :dunno:
  10. My friend has an '87 XJ, 4.0L, auto., and it idles right around 1200 RPM. He's changed the IAC about a year ago, TPS recently, coolant sensor, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, and checked over all of the vacuum lines. The problem gets a little worse when it's at running temp. Any ideas from the pros? Thanks, dudes!
  11. Diggin the "nothing-to-see-here" curtains in the rear window. :peek:
  12. Cantilever air bags.
  13. Bobbed SWB with a rear suspension that intrigues me:
  14. Nice! Diggin' the new look and the new plan. Glad to see this thing back!
  15. New battery day! :wrench:

    strange game

    Hu... well... that's... er... interesting.
  17. Bringing the topic back:
  18. ^Not just a work shop. If you wanted was heated storage for the toys in the winter, this would be great too. Kinda sad to be selling, seeing as though I just finished the shop before last winter. Oh well... next shop will be bigger!
  19. The problem is that the shop is a mess and majorly overstocked. I've offered to empty it out and take some additional pictures for the add. Maybe just empty the VWs and leave the truck for some free advertising... :D
  20. Congratulations! Make sure you're as creative as you can be for the wedding... the last thing you want is to look back and think of all of the things that you wish you would've done different. For example: ... now that's a unity candle! However, I wish someone would've taken a picture after it was really lit. Flame grew to about two feet tall! Here's to a happy life to both of you!
  21. And late July is the best opportunity to come to Pete's? Rob :D Yup! My summer schedule is all booked up!... all one month of it.
  22. Things went well today. Apparently there was plenty of interest in the house... fingers crossed anyway. Mid July is my best opportunity window for moving.
  23. I'd make a deal on parts! Everyone needs black interior parts and cargo lights, right?
  24. Another open house this Sunday! Note: PRICE DROP FOR ANY CC MEMBER!!
