  1. It's 5 7/8" but looking for something used / cheep as we may have to go with the SYE if it will not work.
  2. It matches up tp the other 3 yokes we have. But then it's also about 2-3" longer then the 89 yoke :chillin:
  3. Thanks, Anyone have a YJ yoke :D
  4. I have an Garmin III that I have had for years that I got for my bike and when I was flying. Nothing like the new ones  but over the years it has been good and they have years of exp.
  5. Could not rember which way went down  Put it that way so the DS weights would have more protection.
  6. Not sure if 8* would be enough. In the photo below the DS is bottomed out on the T-case yoke. Buy the time I move the DS up is it's not hitting the yoke and turn the DS up to meet the DS will be more then 8* :dunno:
  7. We did not check at the start of the project, but just went out and checked and it's 44 1/4" at the center of the rear opening. The other end is OK and turn it 90 deg and it clears on the DS side  The JY would at least get me through till we can go SYE 8)
  8. That is what I am thinking, unless a t-case drop would help. Have around 6.5" of lift. a Ford 8.8 SOA with 4x4 springs that have no sag.
  9. Slip yoke is out for photo, it's at the same spot it ran for the first 78,000 in the XJ, so that is not it. Pinion angle is 5deg both at the t-case and axle. Anyway, In the photo where the axle end of theDS is is where it's free hanging. The DS is maxed out on angle and will not go down any lower to match up to the axle. I need the DS to angle down a lot more
  10. $ tires are for my XJ and the 6-35" tires will be for the MJ, unless we trade them foe a winch or other things we need for it ;) Got the bumper, just having some plates cut to mount it.
  11. On the ground you can get it hooked up but a good bumb on the road on go wheeling and going to break something  Need to come up with the the right fix
  12. Getting close :D Get the DS fixed, shocks, discos and bumper mounted and will be ready for the road test
  13. Well time to update this subject  Here is some photos from last week when we made a trip to Mudrunt's and got tires 8) 18 tires in all :D
  14. Well got the rear DS cut and went to install it and found problems. The angle is to much and the DS is hitting the T-case yoke and not allowing the DS to angle down enough to hook up to the 8.8 :headpop: Others have no problems, so not sure what is wrong. I took the grinder to it to see if I could grind off enough to clear
  15. LOOKING GOOD  PS: I hope to get new photos up this weekend, buy you would know your old bed right now :D
  16. Thanks, Going to go pull the 97 peddle assembly and check it out ;)
  17. What is the difference in the assemblies?????
  18. Will a 97 peddle assembly fit into a 91? I got a 97 booster and master cyl. and can get the peddle assembly cheep to go with it :D
  19. Kind of like the time I took my car to Sears for 2 tires. Went to pick it up after work and the guy gave me a bill for $2,000  It had 2 new tires, 4 new struts and the AC was fixed  I got one good deal for the price of 2 tires :D
  20. New u-joints all the way around :D
  21. Well, Higher then when it was 2wd and 6.5" lower
  22. Thanks, Off in the morning to see how much to cut the DS down
  23. Do you have any vibs with the high angle????
  24. Getting ready to go get the rear DS cut down. For everyone that has a 8.8 SOA, did you use a t-case drop??? Or leave the t-case at the OEM height. With what I have to pay, I want to get the DS work done right the first time 8)
  25. I have all the parts / years logged in the computer so I know what I need to get parts for. Hard part is the Ford 8.8 :D
