Ok I tried putting one screw into one hole and the rest doesn't line up...since it has like a metal gasket around the outer ridge it's hard to stretch it...plus, when you do put one screw in , the opposite side of that one its doesn't reach out to the specific hole it really falls in the tranny hole

Well just to refresh this post I bought the boot from quadratech. It doesn't fit it's too small and the holes don't line up at all...I'm going to have to return this and get the other one part number 53002864 from the post from keyv8r to see if that one works

Pb blaster the crap out of the locking mechanism and have someone outside the truck to push the button in the handle while pulling and you inside the door pulling back and forth the linkage and it'll let loose took a few times to get it open but it'll eventually let loose

Also how do I know if its just my vent tube leaking? Where is that vent tube? I've seen a hose from the axle going in the engine bay. My leak is from the passenger side

Ok I've seen some gear oil with some friction material in it? Does it bother the gears in anyway?

Hey guys what diff fluid should I use for the front I'm going to so axle seals this weekend I mean I've done diff fluid change a few months ago but I let my mechanic do it soooo....any input would help tons

Aren't aftermarket flares stupid expensive? unless your scoring a deal from a friend or off Craigslist? I've looked into the flares but man to dish out 500$ with shipping for flares I'd rather stick to stock flares. I've seen on here aftermarket ones look stock but look really good but 500$ bucks just hurts I could use that money for other things in the jeep

Yeah I fixed that because I noticed that it didn't want to go in all the way so I reversed it. i posted that pic because that was the only pic I had showing the discos.... Thanks for the help though any help is appreciated and input

So I called Randy's and they were very helpful! Although they didn't have all the seals there hut they were great to supply me the part numbers Inner seal part# 470547 Outer seal part# 3942 U joints parts# 5-260 Also they also included the middle seal which is where the cad is Part # 4019n

Yes frank I do have the stock shafts

So there isn't four like two inners for the carrier area and two for the outside seals where the shaft enters....I went to a few auto parts stores advance, auto zone, and a few others mini parts stores around here, and no one know what I was talking about.

A lot of aftermarket and oe parts for these trucks are rare so for someone to pop up with pcs already included is like a sight for sore eyes but good pick up there enjoy!
