What is wrong with your case? Looks like the master kit is 150. That is not bad as long as they are quality bearings and not chinese knock offs.

Close. The reduction in heat in the cabin doesn't come from making the evap cold, but from making the refridgerant change state in the evap (from a liquid to a gas) by boiling it. This takes heat energy, which comes from the air passing through the evap fins. Yea if you buy into what they teach you in A/C school (I am ASE certified in A/C) Just grab a hold of an evaporator when the A/C is running, Its COLD. My explaination was aimed at the layman. Most people thing of boiling as in boiling water (hot) not boiling off to a gas as in Freon or R134a. Well, I guess I'll have to buy in to myself, as I teach A/C classes :D .

Did you still hear the grind up in the air, or just driving? I have heard many, many rear bearings transmit the noise so that you would swear it is coming from the front. You may have bad rear carrier bearings as well. OR, the pinion bearings you assumed were good really aren't. -
When you get older you do...I'm forgetful. But you will remember the first corner you take on a dry road.

I guess you might think that from what you see, but those are notes and instructions for my essay class. My thesis topic is Gun Control: The Right to Keep and Bear Arms. My final paper is due in about 3 more weeks. Is that in APA format? What a pain in the arse.

PM me with what you might want off of it. It will be given to a college, but they won't do anything with it.

hopefully. I am exchanging vehicles in Erie at 8:30, so I'll be back in depew pretty early.....

I will be able to choose between 9 and 11 different new vehicles to drive. I could drive a different one every week, or day for that matter. And they all have Sirius satellite radio.

A big plus is that I am basically my own boss. My supervisor is in NYC (6 hrs away), and he is usually headed home by 3:30. I should be out the door most days btwn 3:30 and 4.

Been an interesting year. After slaving as a dealership tech for 20+ years I got a job teaching for Chrysler in 07. Got laid off Dec 08. Hired back on Feb 09. Found out in April that all the training centers were closing, some moving to college campus'. Some just closing. Ours was on the just close list. Found out yesterday that they found us a home at a college, but only keeping one instructor. Well, I got the position, but the catch is that the new location is 1 1/2 hours away. At least they provide the vehicles to drive, and cover half of the fuel costs. How long of a commute do you guys have? I did an hour + ten for two years. Didn't really mind it at all, but I was 20 years younger. (Wildman, it isn't ECC, they found a spot at SUNY Morrisville)

Ohm test is not the best way to test. Voltage drop is better.

Could also be the linkage binding since they move half way up before stopping.

Just curious as to what vacuum lines would be in the way when doing a water pump repair? Any chance you could show us a picture of what you broke/ repaired?

I have not heard anything definite about the 2010 Wranglers. I expect it will still be the 3.8 for a couple of years. I am not a huge fan of the 3.8 in the Wrangler, but I like the engine in general. Just biased for the 4.0. I have had the opportunity to drive three different Rubicons quite extensively over the last 2 1/2 years, two 4 doors and one 2 dr. (company cars). If I were in the market for a new vehicle, I would certainly consider one.

Help Please (or - I am totally aggravated here...)

I would always drop the track bar (the 'S' shaped bar) at the axle and it would pivot down and out of the way. Did you remove the bellhousing inspection cover? -
try another parts store. What is the amp rating on the circuit breaker? You should be able to install a blade fuse of the same rating as a temp fix.

What's the best way to remove this?
aemsee replied to fiatslug87's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
:agree: . That is the only way to do it without damaging the knob -
The ones I got were free shipping as well. For that price I won't complain if I take one out with a low branch :D

First tip. Drain the oil and let it sit a day or so before doing the job.Less to fall in your face.

You will also need to swap in a 4.0 fuel pump as the TBI 2.5 pump doesn't have the same pressure.. -
OK, ya talked me in to it. Just ordered a set for $29.99.
