  1. Yeah, but the teasing before hand is what makes the ending worth it. At least that is what ive been told in the past lol. I will finally be making a build thread for the rig once everything settles down and I get it back together RockMJ
  2. Stopped by the painters and saw the MJ for the first time with its new coat of paint. I did not take any pictures but I assure you, it looks incredible! Doesnt even look like the same rig! I pick her up tomorrow! Pictures to follow RockMJ
  3. I don't think anyone can argue a pink rig sitting on some built axles. It would be different thats for sure RockMJ
  4. Hopefully it came with a set of stripper pumps in your size lol. Looks like a solid build and I saw your XJ so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. Thinking you should name it "The Pepto Princess Build"? Welcome aboard :D RockMJ
  5. Clean engine bays should have a warning label associated with them. Gets the blood flowing haha. Great start on this one! Please keep it updated as we all love these types of swaps! RockMJ

    Florida?

Nate, I wouldnt be able to help for a few weeks as I just dropped the MJ off at the painters so I won't have it back for at least a week and a half. We still want to get you up and running but the distance makes it harder to arrange. I know I am gone the weekend of the 17th but after that I am available. Do you have everything we need to get you going? RockMJ
  7. Today was a very, very proud day for me and the MJ. I dropped her off at the painters to get sprayed Mango Tango/Toxic Orange and it will be done in a week! Here is how she looked today sitting in their lot. The Jeep is happy as sh*t to finally be rid of the hideous 80's Toyota Corolla paint color. I am so friggin happy right now its ridiculous! RockMJ
  8. Jeff, degreaser and some paint! Thats an order haha I want to take a moment to give a HUGE thank you to Drahcir495. Rich gave me a hand Saturday, to early Sunday morning getting the clutch installed and the trans back in the MJ. Without him I wouldnt be a fraction of the way towards getting the MJ painted. Put the correct oil in the BA10 (SAE 20w-50) and it shifts like a dream. I was also able to hang the 97+ front end, strip the exterior, trim for the flat BWer's, and get some of the interior taken care of. The MJ gets dropped off at the painters this week! Rich, thank you again man! RockMJ
  9. Turns out the T4 shift boot works perfectly! I was really impressed with how well it worked and the smell of oil in the cab is gone! Awesome :chillin: If anyone needs it, here is the link: http://www.quadratec.com/products/52109_00.htm RockMJ
  10. Pure sexiness! Any chance we can get a shot looking up towards the motor? Curious about the clearances RockMJ
  11. Every Comanche is special, regardless of condition :D RockMJ
  12. Any chance you tweaked the axle housing in the accident? Definitely looks off, but nice to see shes back! RockMJ
  13. The flares are secured to the mounting brackets with screws but more or less, thats correct. Thanks RockMJ
  14. I just received my flat style flares today so I should have some pictures of them mounted up when I get the MJ back from the painters! Thanks Motion for the photos and info! RockMJ
  15. Received my Bushwacker flat style flares, floor mats, and clutch parts! A bunch of parts are showing up this week. RockMJ
  16. PM replied to man. Let me know RockMJ
  17. I will let you know when I see another one, but I am keeping this one :D . I will swing by and give you a hand for sure  . Just give me a time and day as soon as you can, because I have my nephew and niece next weekend. I will have give my wife a heads up. . I have two buckets from the 96, but thank you for the offer. Thanks! Do you need any slider brackets, fenders, front clip etc? I have a ton of stuff I'm doing away with. And I will let you know for sure when we get closer. I'm still waiting on getting the clutch kit in the mail but ill let you know man. Thank you! RockMJ
  18. Hey Jim, I appreciate the link and I already have a new one for the trans tunnel. I am looking for the shift boot that mounts to the transmission itself to keep debris out of the case. I have not had any luck finding it so I picked up a T4 one that is somewhat the same style. It probably will not fit correctly but hopefully I can modify it to work. The BA10 one was discontinued years ago it looks like from what ive read RockMJ
  19. I have a set of late model XJ buckets in tan that could be made to work with some welding. Free if you want them! RockMJ
  20. I need a 44 badly! If you decide to sell it I call dibs! Rich, would you be around next weekend to possibly lend a hand getting the BA10 back under my MJ? I got it out by myself but I don't know if I can get it back in alone haha. I am going to be doing the clutch and everything else this week and hopefully by Saturday or Sunday of next week ill get the trans back up in and have everything bled. Spacers look great btw man :clapping: RockMJ
  21. In the past few days ive spent nearly 1500$ on parts so ill have a lot of work to do in the next few weeks :D RockMJ
  22. My Uncle is spraying this color on his MJ this week, ill have 2 get a few pics ;) or seeing as its his truck you could wait until he post pictures and not steal his thunder.... Took the words out of my mouth haha. Dropping mine off at the painters next Monday (hopefully) RockMJ
  23. I ordered up the T4 inner boot as its only a few bucks so if it doesnt work, no love lost. I have found threads with guys having similar issues but the threads died with no answers. I will post up what I find out RockMJ
  24. I have been looking at the T4 trans shift boot and I'm wondering if it would work. Stupid sh*t like this drive me up a wall I swear :fs1: RockMJ
  25. Hey guys, I'm in the process of overhauling my clutch assembly in my 88 MJ and I am in need of some input. Ever since I got the Jeep I had smelled that all too familiar warm gear oil stink while driving. After I dropped the BA10-5 this weekend I found that both shift boots were torn, the floor boot (I knew was bad) and the inner shift boot that goes on the transmission itself. Has anyone replaced the transmission inner shift boot on the BA10-5? The transmission itself works perfectly fine and I'm currently sourcing an AX15/231 setup but I need this for the time being. I have searched to exhaustion and nobody has the replacement inner boot for this trans (big surprise). Has anyone used a shift boot from another Jeep, or car and it worked? I am just tired of smelling that gear oil funk. Thanks guys RockMJ
