Alright, I drove my MJ only 2 times at night and I can tell that the gauges " not the glass" are really dirty. All the lights work but they are really dim. Thats how mine is set up but your CB is huge compared to mine.

I got a small radio shack CB radio. The bracket is bent kinda like the letter C, Long along the top and short down both sides. On the long part of the bracket, there was 1 hole in the middle. I took my ash tray out and saw 1 hole in the middle, same as the bracket for the CB. I put the bracket in where the ashtray use to be and it fit perfectly... Even the holes lined up! The CB looks like it came with the jeep, It fits perfectly in there.

So is it normal to have abunch of oil on my air filter? It looked half black half white.

When I bought my MJ, I looked at the air filter and it was half black and half clean white.... Would it effect anything like idle or how the engine runs at all? Castrol Syntec products is only what I use in all my vehicles. Why? All my instructors at NTI aka "UTI" said its the best and thats all they use. My import friends all use it too.... so I do too. I guess I'm just following the crowd...

Does anybody go to the hardware store aka """Lowes/Home depot""" to buy parts for there car or Jeep? I know its common for the DSM owners but is this common for any car owner? Like with jeeps too? Just wondering because on the way to work today, one of my coolant hoses busted... I asked a fellow DSM owner at work and said to replace the hose with "heater hose" from Lowes, witch I'm doing tomorrow right after I finally get my Jeep MJ on the road! :yes:
