  1. And bring a video camera please
  2. Very true. However my fab skills are pretty shabby and my welding skills...well i have none. Can anyone tell me for a fact that 4 door XJ front doors are identical to MJ doors before I bite the bullet for these things?
  3. :agree: :rotf: :rotfl2: o i almost forgot :needpics: AAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

your mj got pwned... sorry for the loss amigo
  5. Awesome! Looks like they don't make them for the 8.8 tubes (I think their 3" in diameter IIRC :headpop: ) EDIT: I found em for 3" tubes! yipppeee  Oh and flip your darn shocks over you hooligan!
  6. Ugh I have no place here but... Go NINERS!
  7. Excellent! Thanks guys! Where do you get new lines from the block to the back axle? Any generic auto parts store or is this a stealership item? Also, It seems people are just plugging their MJ prop valves as opposed to replacing it with an XJ valve. Has everyone had more success with this method?
  8. This has been brought up before but I wasn't able to find anything via the search. Mine hasn't been hooked up in a long time and it's time to go. What's involved with taking out the load sensor in the brake system? Who has done it? Thanks!
  9. Bitchin' My door handles are quite an eyesore
  10. Looks good back there  Any other pics of your leaf spring perches? That's a pretty cool set up
  11. How'd the new track bar bolt work out? Pics of the final product please! :chillin:
  12. Did it wreck your beautiful front end?
  13. I'm a hippy. And I don't drink coffee. Nobody believes it for some reason
  14. Catalytic converter maybe? I know those make goofy rattling noises when they go bad. Try kicking it and if it sounds like a shoe box with some kitty litter in it, then it's toast.
  15. Could you elaborate alittle more on this please...?
  16. I was waiting for this. Thank you! Such a great reference EDIT: guess it's time to stop using Fram filters
  17. I'm still a little confused about something. So the shift fork or the posi-lok lock both axle shafts togther? and when you switch to 4WD it engages the front drive shaft? Once you lock the slide fork permanetly the front axle is good to go. The only thing controlling your 4wd then is the transfer case. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong or missing something.
  18. Once you lock out the front axle, what have you guys done with the vacuum lines coming out of the transfer case? Plugged up the lines somehow? I'm wondering what to do since I swapped in a non vacuum disconnect d30 out of a 95 xj...Sorry to hijack... :hateputers:
  19. out west is the best 8)
  20. I just learned that she drift races with one of her sons. I gotta admit, I was not expecting that. ???? What's drift racing? It's what Hulk Hogan's son likes to do when he's not hospitalizing his passengers. Willy
  21. Welcome! Great avatar!
  22. What kind of paint do you guys use for the cover? High heat rattle can?
  23. Those can't all possibly be for real...can they? Very hilarious, but this may be the death of craigslist as we know it.. EDIT: Finally someone who understands us! :chillin:
  24. As tempting as it sounds, I really don't have the time (or space) for 2 parts trucks (or even 1). And i'm not in WI. I've checked the local ads and craigslist here and havent been able to spot any cheap jeeps for sale. I wish I could get one for $175....lucky.
  25. Good point. I'm planning on taking some welding and fab classes at the local community college here in town, but its gonna be awhile before i actually enroll in them. First I'm working on abtaining a BA degree...
