I think you can just unplug the intermittant module ,and put the two connectors together to test if the module is bad.It is at the base of the column. Might save you the trouble of tearing into the column. :cheers:

I vote for the 4.0! It is a tough engine,when I bought my mj I neglected to check the oil when I first looked at it. It was a 25 mi. drive home.Long story short it took three qts. to bring it up to level. It runs great idles great ,and gets around 20 mpg consistently. It has 169k on the clock.:cheers:

Got her going again ,replaced the starter solinoid. :wrench:

Just resolved a no turn over condition with my mj today. Replaced the starter solenoid-$32.00 at autozone. Oh and according to the date on the tag i'm still on the original starter! Had the starter tested and it was good ,but broke the pos. terminal off when reinstalling so the sol. was replaced. She fired right up after ,but my prob could have been as simple as the neg.cable on the batt. as i removed it for the job. So check your cables again! :cheers:

Removed the factory radiator fan ,and installed a 14" electric one. Working well so far. :cheers:

I have actually tried them together ,and they are quiet. Two mufflers inline think about it. :yes:

Do you have to pass a smog inspection? If not i had a cherrybomb inplace of my cat. ,and a flowmaster right after. It was too quiet for me so i removed the cherrybomb ,and put in straight pipe. Now it sounds right! Anyways just a suggestion. :cheers:
