Removed the glasspack installed in place of the cat by the po ,and installed a section of pipe and a flowmaster. Dumped it just before the rear axle. Sounds great!
If you have no tach how do you know you are at redline? Does it misfire just before the auto trans shifts to the next gear when accel pedal held to the floor between all gears?My mustang will sometimes hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift I can adjust shift points with my handheld tuner to get out of this. Maybe you have slow shift solenoids in your trans. maybe from overheat when fluid was low? :dunno:
Yes the install is easy. Use vaseline on the o-rings to aid in installation ,and clean the injector holes in the manifold while you have them out. Mine were gummed up pretty good. :cheers:
My base model has low high settings on the stalk. If you have stalk delay feature you have an issue if it is not resonably variable with the stalk switch. I have no real experience with stalk delay as i do not have it. My add on delay works well for me. You may have to replace components to get proper function:cheers:
