Need to replace one of my leaf packs due to one being broken. Just going to buy new U-bolt while I am at it too. Anyone know what size? 2.75"? Thread? Thanks!

I usually get around 330, before I go fuel up. Average around 20 - 21 mpg. Not bad for a 18-gal tank.

Looks like I may need a new ignition cylinder. How hard is it to replace from the unit at Team Cherokee?

I think they also tried copies of B46 blanks for my ignition and those didn't work either. I believe that is standard for a GM car to take the B46. EDIT: This site lists the B46 as equiv. to the RA5... :dunno: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/Key-Blank-5ZLF7

Well, had them make replacement keys with RA3 and RA4 blanks. The door lock keys worked, but he made one for the ignition and it didn't work. I'm wondering if its just because the original is so old and worn out that a copy can't be made correctly to fit in the ignition, which also could be worn out after 23 years? Any thought?

Wasn't the 4.0 introduced to Cherokee/Comanche in 87? I've seen 4.0s with this cluster.

I don't think I broke the nut off when I took of the skid, just didn't want to get any old bolt if it wasn't going to fit correctly. I'll head to the hardware store and get some replacements. Thanks!

Anyone know where I can get replacement bolts for the gas tank skid plate? They seem to be self tapping or some type of special automotive bolt and I'm not sure I'll find them if I go to the hardware store.

I suppose I could, but that seems like too much work for me. Eh, I don't know, the only problem is I have to find one now at one of the junk yards.
