I have access through work of cost plus pricing on parts, so I usually buy local as I pay less then my friends shop lol, I have used rockauto twice only, once becuse they showed a full grill and headlight surround kit for a silly cheap price so I ordered it, only got the grill with a small crack, I complained and got the whole deal refunded to me,... Found that fair Second time was for the diesel comanche, I didn't have access to the parts, rock auto did, price was fair shipping hurt but they did get my parts to me correctly and pretty damn fast seeing how they came from the UK. To date; very happy customer!!

I will send you a PM shortly, to be honest this is my first stab at a diesel. So as it sits I need to find TDC and the rear cylinder to set the valve timing, injector pum, ect. I have been informed to check the spline drive to the oil pump and then figure out if I have all the parts and where they all go as the engine is a basket case.

I saw the Comanche today in person and damn it's sexy! Pictures don't do it justice. It will be a head turner!

Parts are starting to pile up!!

Camera was dead yesterday and I was building a fence on the weekend so I havent done anything other than move it and plate it so far. Fuel Filter and Oil filter arrived today, should have the timing belt and gaskett kit this afternoon! -J

Filters, gaskets and timing parts arrive Monday, Truck arrives Sunday, I have manuals to reassemble it,.. And today I got an official bill of sale!!!! Registration tomm!!! I am so excited, but what did you guys get me into??? I sold a jeep (never happens) to a now CC member to thin the heard for focus on the master plan and here I am again with another project. Oh boy,..

There is a "pulse" difference on older trans vs the newer ones , older trans is a single pulse and newer is 3 I believe. You can swap some of the guts to make it work, I have had a friend do so.
