hmm so the 84-86 XJs have a center hood latch? so i could replace the dual goofy crap that don't work on mine w/ a single one hmmm.

the stock parts WILL work, make sure u get the kick panels condensor steering stuff blah b lah all that jazz.

yes get the stock firewall its a PITA to put in. you could prob section it tho. i need the piece off the front of the dash and all the lower mouldings(donst come w/ and u need em so u can see the VIN plate)

there is a bolt on the outside that you have to undo to get ti apart.

the 2.8 and 4.3 are pretty much the same motor( i think don't quote me on that) u *could* put the block heads in there w/ the carbd intake off the 2.8. it should bolt to the trans/tcase also.

yup shes got airbags front and rear. and yes it does sit all the way on the ground ;)

na its all gona be hand made, the floor will only be a bout 3 in higher then stockw/ a really small tranny tunnel.

measure each end 3/8 of an inch longer and use an angle grinder to notch it out. doesnt take as long as you think. i built those w/ a reg. bender from northern tool. the 2nd was made by cutting the angels and butt welding the tubing cuz of the steep angle. its all 1"1/2" schedule 40 tube.just filled the pipe w/ sand from homedepot. capped the ends w/ duct tape.

i wanted the wood grain so i can paint it body color :D its smooth so all i got do is wetsand it and paint it!

yea my ranger has 4:10 gears and trac loc front and rear :D o and a an 8.8 w/ 31 spline axles :D here's the dash pic

YES. DO not use high pressure water to do it. do it at home w/ some purple power and a water hose and a brush :D

haha yea i tow w/ it sometimes. its rated at towin 5600 lbs so i figured ynot. o and trailer brakes are my friend lol. i got the dash from http://www.discountjeepparts.com/index. ... /3121_3128 and the instruement cluster bezel from http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/cgi-bi ... hand+drive i didnt get the cluster cuz it was HELLA expensive, plus all i needed was the shell anyways. i still gota get the lower part of the dash(gona try to mod the LHD stuff to work) but the dash i got was new in the box so i can't complain.

yea itll fit on a reg. trailer. here's mine on an 18 foot car trailer. its closer on the left side then the right so yea.

I'm gona say no, since the trans hump is SO high in the jeep and so low in the ranger BUT if you did the bucket seat mod(cut out the "middle" seat and tuck the cover in the side) and just kept the armrest it could work, but then brackets would be a pita also.

couldu post the bed mount one? are u wantin to straitin your frame? when ever i do frame work i go off the center line of the frame...

yea cab is fully braced w/ 2x3 1/4 wall tubing and itll be even more braced w/ some 1x1 tubin for the floor structure. also frame will be fully boxed and all that good stuff. its still a unibody ;) i should have the floor pan and bed back on by some time in march.
