i put the cylinders out of mine in the door,using the lock retainer for the 97. all i did was flip the clip around to the other side of the lock cylinder and squeezed it witha a pair of pliers to tighten it up a bit( metal clip with plastic retainer vs. all plastic and smaller rod on the 97 up)

i would grind the paint off and weld the cracks up, grind em down and paint em.

yea from the bottom of hte fender to the top is 26 inches tall in the center, smallest 20 in tire is 27inches i would run...

k cuz once i get mine in for paint, I'm gona wire wheel those suckers and prob plate em from behind and weld em up. i need to come get that window to!

id love to see it painted to! lol.

there 17s, 20s wouldnt fit in the tiny fenders....

do you have pics of were the welds break?

i finally got some work done, big thx to pete m for getting me the park lights ive ben missing forever. i couldnt find them anywere. and here's how i did my striker on my 97 up door swap.

i prefer soapy water and a wratchet strap on small tires. safer lol

yup i cut up a perfectly good truck lol. its got an s10 frame and a 350 engine.it started life as a 2wd, so its not like a i killed a good 4x4 MJ...

push in on the fuel line while using the tool to release the clip, they can be a PITA some times, a lil leverage from a wrench never hurt.

you could remove the grommet and use buyteyle(sp) tape(dumdum) in its place.

you don't have enough pinion angle it looks like.

please please PLEASE go to an autobody supply store and get some seam sealer. silicone will NOT fix water leaks in seams. don't expect to paint over it either. silicone will eventually fall out. i use this stuff at work alot, it is REALLY reasonable i think its 15 bux a tube

no wonder they fit better then a keystone hood LOL.
