  1. well damn i swore i looked there ok got it thanks man!OK now for the interior anybody?
  2. I did this yours look a little more beef than mine do but mine were cheap and they seem to be sturdy enough. My advice is to buy the black ones or scuff, prime, paint and use some silicone sealer everywhere you can their a rust magnet on the hood.don't let this scare you i think thier the ticket for the manches they look cool their cheap and that hood release sux!
  3. I need a new or used retaing ring for the fuel pump its an 88 not sure what years are the same or if they all are. Also need black interior let me know what you have and well go from there.
  4. Its only on outside of fender. does not wrap around like door trim would. I would probably try JCWhitney first, they tend to have this sort of stuff. Here is a couple pictures. Hope it helps. I'd guess it's Protekto-Trim. Man that looks great!Ill search that thanks guys
  5. what type of trim is that around the fender wells have any idea?If you have a close up could you post it?don't go out of your way though not a must see thanks.
  6. I need to do this, when we got hellbilly it was soaked with oil in the airfilter and everything was a mess. I fig it was a clogged line, pcv, baffel or something along those lines. So i cleaned everything including VC replaced gasket and couple other small things.I'm guessing this won't last?Since you didnt take pics of this mod can you take pics of finished product?Or can you really not see anything?I lost you a little bit but I'm sure i can figure it out once i get it all in my hands. Thanks
  7. So I have searched some and from what I read you just unplug the speedo cable on an 88? I have tryed several times can't seem to get it off its the last thing holding my dash in.Anyone have any advice or am I doing it wrong by chance?Or do I just need to keep tryn?
  8. WOW!That may be the closest mj ive ever seen to what id build when the time comes. But that D30s gotta go  That is for me cuz id wheel the s!#t outta that thing (and then clean it)lol.Whatever you do with it congrats thats a nice truck.
  9. You can come see it anytime you like its warming up goin to get back to work. I do have some pics to get you all up to date ill add soon.Tryin to get the damn speedo cable off its the last thing to do before i can get the dash out. I'm trying to preach to my son hell apreciate all this detail, rust prevention, sound deadning and attention to the interior eventually.Hes very excited to get this thing on the road and i don't blame him.So help me out here guys explain to him how important all aspects of a build are important! :D
  10. you are probably on a different track than i am and hes prob better listening to your advice as I'm building a street/trail hydro assist jeep. And hes wanting a capable comanche 2 different rigs.
  11. Double triangulated 4 link fronts do not need track bars and are very stable driven on street with no issues.Links have nothing to do with flex. Its your bumpstops and limit straps that affect your flex, 3 and 4 link both flex past the limits of your rig.your driveshaft will pull out before they stop.Trackbars suck!
  12. 4link= no trackbar and stronger than y link or radius arm on my wrangler, I'm building my own.
  13. Brett i may need some of that stuff as were going black on garretts jeep was there a rear sliding window?i just need the latch.and i may want the cab corners too if you go back doubt i have time to make the trip.shoot me a pm or text with what you think and how much $ you think hell take.
  14. you know funny you say that i did at first then forgot to today Damn! hope that doesnt bite me in the butt!  id guess it will be ok it says light scuff but hopin with the factory texture may be ok.But thanks for the reminder back to scuffing!
