Nevermind, this is the actual map hose. It goes right to the sensor.

There is no fuel in the hose when off, or after the fuel pump has pressurized

I have an HO throttle body, intake manifold, and head. I believe this is my MAP hose? Who does the injectors for the 4.0? Where can I get them?

There should be fuel in it while it's off correct? Or should I switch the ignition to run the fuel pump for a minute

My truck is running way too rich at idle. To the point where fuel is spraying out of the exhaust pipe. Recently replaced within the last 2k miles: - plugs, wires, distributor, injectors (Amazon 4 hole cheapos), IAC, fuel pump, O2 sensor. Completed tips 1-5 from cruiser. Any tips/suggestions?

Good point, a 4-71 is 1700lbs lol. Even a 3-53 is 960 lbs. I'm gonna start looking at 4bt cummins

Since we're on the subject of weird swaps... What do y'all think about a small Detroit or CAT diesel? Something like a 3-53, 4-53, or even a 4-71...

So if you give it throttle and let out the clutch like you normally would it just revs? Is the engine trying at all to move the truck?

Have you gotten a quote for the linex yet? If so, how did they quote you for the job?

I pulled the IAC valve and the o ring looked in good condition. The threaded pintle was just sitting inside the valve body.

Ok I just started it up for the first time this morning and it is now hissing full time, plugged in or not

I was able to reach all the bolts/nuts and they are all tight. When I unplug the IAC it's makes a loud hissing noise, that gradually disappears when I plug it in again. Does this mean that it is working?

How on earth do I reach those bottom bolts.... I can't even see them 🤦🏼‍♂️ All the bolts that I could reach are tight

Should I check exhaust manifold bolts as well just for kicks?

I will check those, never checked em before. I do know it has an exhaust leak, but it sounds like it's coming from the back of the truck

How do you test this... I am having the same issues.

What should I clean the tb/IAC out with? Brake clean or something else?
