  1. No its the right springs they even say 4.5 on them see Thanks tho Brandon
  2. Well it was hard to find for me any ways and I can only speak from personal experience. Brandon
  3. Did you say that it has matching dana 30 and 35 axles with 4:10 gears?!? Are you looking to convert your truck to 4x4 or is it already 4x4? I know that a dana 30 geared with 4:10 gears is VERY VERY hard to find. So if you looking to up grade your gears and axles and or converting 4x4 you should still pick it up. even both for 75 bucks you should be able to get like 25 bucks from the 35 at the scrap yard. This way you can get a bit back and when you do go and get a 44 or other upgraded axle, you can either look in getting brand new gears or trying to find one with 4:10. GREAT find if it is 4:10 but please make sure that you count the teeth and find out what your getting. Brandon
  4. It means one i thought the same. And don't forget you get 10% off if your from CC. If you have any more ?'s just call them up Tom. he's super great. Brandon
  5. Oh and if your truck is a 2wd the springs will me higher by like an inch. It will take a bit for them to settle. Brandon
  6. I don't know thats how he sent me the leafs :dunno: So monday or tuesday ill mout the shocks thr right way and see how it works out. Thanks ya'll Brandon
  7. WoW! All of that for 140 amps? The alternator I just put on was for a 85 chevy astro van and cranks out 115 amps. But if not any thing else keeping it away from water is a great idea  Looks like a fun build keep up the good work :wrench: Brandon
  8. That looks big! how many amps dose it crank out? Brandon
  9. The threads were bad and and the nuts were just hand tight on one of them. I know that i need to tighten them down in a few weeks. So how do the shocks look? I think now that the springs have started to settle they should work. Monday ill turn the shocks the right way and put them on. Brandon
  10. Yeah I know I fixed that to day I needed new U bolts again Brandon
  11. Wow thats crazy theres one in town like that lol BRandon
  12. Ok you used shock tabs and mounted them about what an inch above where the spring plate shock mount would be? What spring plates did you use? And I can tell what axle is that? here are some pic's of what it looks like as of a few min ago: Brandon
  13. Wow! Cool! Where did he get them? And are you going to put them on your truck? Brandon
  14. are the shocks really mounted upside down :fool: Ill post up pic's after I eat dinner but after keeping a 4 wheeler in the bed and what not today the shocks are about an inch or so past where they get mounted. So I guess the springs have settled :dunno: So I'm going to try and mount the shocks up tomarrow. Thanks ya'll Brandon

  23. Ok here I found a pic on my build page of how the shocks mount. Is this what ya'll needed? Keep in mind that is with the old leaf springs Brandon
  24. Yeah I do plan on running 33's one day but for now I'm gonna stick with my newer 31's. Ill upload a bunch of pics tomarrow at lunch just right now I'm doing this on an Ipod so I can't up load any thing. But I can tell you how they mount. The shocks mount to the inside of the spring plate that bolts up to the leaf springs. And yes I have a Ford 8.8 RC is assuming that you have stock locations on your axle for shock length though... So having an 8.8 tosses a wrench in anything they have for a reference. You will most likely have to measure yourself, and tell them what you need. Rob L. That is true about RC thinking I still have a dana 35 back there however tom at hellscreek knows I have the ford axle and he said the same thing, that I have the right shocks that came with the kit and that I gotta get rid of the RC shackles to get the 4.5" shocks to mount up and work right. The next shock up is the 6" lift shock and I am unsure if that would be to much or not. Brandon
  25. All I know is that they are the shocks that should work with the lift I have. I understand what you mean tho about only having an in of travel. But is that how thet are suposed to work? I just don't know. I may lose a bit more hight when the spings settle but :dunno: Vrandon
